1. Henry
It was snowing, and the sky was dim. Henry couldn’t stop shivering as he sat in his wagon being pulled by a mule. There he sat, pulling a plough behind him through the icy soil. This was his least favorite part about being a farmer, but he knew it had to be done.
The farm was covered in a thin layer of freshly fallen snow. In the distant north, he could see the palace, towering above the lands. To the south he could see the forests, engulfing the flowing hills in an ocean of dark green pine trees.
He could see his house, as he got closer to the end of crop fields. Smoke rose from the chimney and the inviting yellow glow of the fire was peeking through the cracked wood planks.
Henry was lean, but muscular. He had light olive skin with blond peach hairs covering it. He had bright ice blue eyes, complemented by his dirty blond hair, and his shaven beard. He wore a dingy white tunic and stained, brown leather pants. Over his shirt he wore a grey fox fur cloak to keep as warm as possible.

The stables were old and falling apart, but Henry didn’t have the money, or time, to fix them. The stables were dark, and had five stables on each side of the walkway. There was a cow, and another mule on opposite sides. The floor was a mixture of rotting hay and dirt. The roof was missing boards, letting the snow fall into the stables.
Henry unlatched one of the stable doors and lead the mule inside. He petted it for a moment, wondering when the winter would turn to spring. Then remembering how cold, he was and walked out of the stable. He made sure the cow and the mules had water, not ice, to drink and closed the stable doors with a slam.
The frozen snow cracked beneath his feet. The frosty air hugged his body, causing him to shiver even more. His breath hung in the air like a low hovering cloud. His teeth hurt from the winter cold.
When he got to his house he swung the door open, to be greeted by a burst of warm air. Quickly he slammed the door shut and latched it. The house
