About this ebook
Harry Cottam
Harry Cottam is a solicitor who has spent a quarter of a century working in an area of Birmingham with a large population, many of whom have Pakistani heritage. He has made many friends from within this community and has become familiar with its culture, way of life and ways of doing business. He is shocked by the ignorance and casual racism of many English people towards this community and believes this arises from ignorance rather than malice. Hence this book. He also incorporates within it his journal of a trip he and friends of British Pakistani heritage made to Pakistan, along with a record of his observations and experiences.
