About this ebook
At Melissa Anderson's early retirement party, she meets a demon incubus she names Brandon, who enters her life at precisely the right moment to shake it up. After serving her college for thirty-years, her retirement is far from wanted; she is only fifty-five and has barely developed herself in the last fifteen years. Her house is filled with furniture from graduate school and her wardrobe is professorial, which means it's frumpy and boring.
Brandon, however, is not boring. Though he is a demon, he does not have the red skin or pointy tail Melissa suspects, but long dark hair and a leather jacket. She longs for Brandon, especially as he disappears and another minion takes his place, but Melissa also doesn't know if she truly wants to change her life. Who knows what could happen? She may even have fun.
With some help from an old friend, Melissa gets a new lease on life, and is able to exorcise all of the demons from her past in order to have a brighter and sexier future.

Chapter 1
The retirement party was almost over when Melissa saw the demon. She’d been drinking cheap wine from a paper cup, thanking her lucky stars that the department could at least hand out alcohol at these parties, especially when they were after hours and she’d been promised so much with her thirty-year career at the college that had not manifested. So, at first, she merely thought the man with long dark hair and a rugged jawline was a side effect of her indulgence. She’d been knocking back all she could to liven up this party and get through all the glad-handing. She was also staring down the barrel of a retirement that she didn’t exactly want. Of course, she’d see a demon.
But he was still there, even as she switched to coffee—really bad coffee, worse than a detective would give her—lingering at the back of the room.
Who is that?
she asked Hannah, one of the admin assistants who seemed to be the only cheerful person in the room.
Hannah’s hair flipped over her shoulder as she looked towards the back of the party where the man stood. Who?
"The guy with long hair. And not Mr. Jensen, the art teacher.
