Dear Gentle Reader,
Jerome the Gnome is real.
I was sitting on a rock in a creek on 4th of July in Woodstock, New York with a sketchbook in hand. An image of a tree house came to mind, which I began to draw. It took about an hour and just when I thought I was done, I heard a voice instructing me to draw a frog. I questioned the voice asking why a frog
? How does that fit into this picture
?
Reluctantly, I drew the frog. Just as I finished sketching such a slimy creature, a couple waded past me and commented Oh, look at that little frog.
I looked and there was a frog sitting next to me the whole time, staring quietly at me, which I had not noticed before. I had a funny feeling my Life had just taken a new turn. And so it began. The
