    Scene 1: The Enigmatic Vlogger

    Wednesday Santora had always possessed an uncanny attraction to misery and woe. It was as if the shadowed corners of existence held a magnetic allure for her, an invisible force that inexorably pulled her into the depths of human despair.

    Today as she moved through the dimly lit, cluttered aisles of deckers illicitly jacked into the matrix, the air grew heavy with the scent of close proximity humanity. The low hum of computers and the muffled voices from the adjacent adult VR parlor that served as a front for this den of the dark net trickled into the room. Wednesday's fingers caressed the virtual keyboard. Lacking a datajack implant, she used a more cumbersome sim-sense headband to experience the constructs of the virtual world. In this instance, it was a deep-data archive. The soft, ghostly whispers of forgotten tales lingered in the air, each file a repository of long-buried sorrows. Above, flickering fluorescent lights cast eerie, shifting shadows on the shelves, as if the spirits of long-forgotten stories were still alive, casting their spectral presence into the present.

    Days prior, in a defunct database's archives, Wednesday unearthed a series of entries by an enigmatic vlogger. Made in the distant past, the videos immediately ensnared her interest, promising an unprecedented journey into chaos. In the flickering images unveiled glimpses of eldritch symbols etched into the station's walls and the anguished expressions of its former inhabitants. It was a descent into madness—an allure that enticed Wednesday's insatiable quest for woe. But then all communication stopped and no social media had been heard since.

    Wednesday's choice made she removed her sim-sense band, leaving the VR construct and maneuvered into to a darkened aisleway, Wednesday reached into a pocket on her pleated skirt and retrieved a straight razor, its blade gleaming with an uncanny luster.
