An isolated village is locked in the grip of a demonic lust that feeds upon the souls of the young and virile. The demon hunter, Belorin, has arrived to perform an exorcism on a young woman, only to find that he may need to purge the entire community, but even he cannot resist the temptations that are offered to him upon arrival. Something in the air brings out the beast within every living person, turning innocent peasants into insatiable fiends of desire, and it has something to do with the new Bishop and his masochistic nuns.
Belorin’s recent tryst in the forest under the spell of the strange spores has left him with fewer reservations about his carnal needs. A young woman, bound in stocks in the center of town, claims to be ‘blessed’ by the Bishop offers to cleanse him of his sins, calling forth the darkest memories of his most hideous rituals from the past. When their bodies merge, the warlock’s mind overwhelms the young woman who shares in his torment from her bondage as she reveals her secrets to him.
The Bishop shows no discretion in his treatment of the townspeople. Belorin enters the church to find him in the act with a young man who is sent out to display his deed for the community. The young man’s walk of shame leads him on a parade of exhibitionism culminating in one final sacrilegious orgy in front of the church steps. The Bishop displays his awful power before announcing one final warning for the warlock to leave the village, prompting him to hasten his search for the patron of his exorcism.
