    Exile of the Katani

    Chapter 1: Arrogance and Exile

The vast dome of the Harnaki Council Hall reverberated with murmurs. It was a sight rarely seen — a member of the esteemed Katani clan standing at the center, under scrutiny. His copper nasal ring, a signifier of the Katani, glistened under the hall’s ethereal lights, seeming to mock him with its shine.

Korvin of the Katani, you stand accused of reckless endangerment, causing harm to young Linor. How do you plead?

Korvin lifted his chin, defiance evident in his eyes. It was an accident! I bear no ill will toward Linor.

The High Councillor, an imposing figure with a Lumina-Band glowing an intense shade of crimson, spoke, Even accidents have consequences, young Korvin. Your arrogance has blinded you to the responsibilities your lineage bestows.

The hall's walls bore witness to the many judgments passed here. The murals depicted the values the Harnaki held dear: unity, knowledge, and humility. Today, they stood in contrast to the young Katani, whose unchecked pride had brought him to this juncture.

The decision was unanimous. As punishment, declared the High Councillor, you will be exiled to Mossania for 90 days. Stripped of your Lumina AI Band, you will face the challenges of survival, learning the humility your soul desperately needs.

Korvin's once defiant gaze faltered. Mossania? The planet of moss and beasts? He had heard tales of its unforgiving nature. But more than fear, it was the shame of the sentence that weighed on him. Exile was a sentence reserved for grave offenses.

Upon reaching Mossania’s orbit, the gravity of his situation hit Korvin. The planet loomed large, its green expanse looking both enticing and menacing. The craft's descent was smooth, but Korvin's heart raced.

Upon landing, the Harnaki guards methodically stripped him of his Lumina-Band, leaving his wrist feeling oddly naked. Its absence was a stark reminder of his vulnerability.

Your sustenance, a guard intoned, pointing to a mechanical contraption some distance away. It will provide one synthesized meal every 20 hours. Survival is your responsibility.

As the guards departed, the deafening roar of the ship's engines slowly faded, replaced by the eerie silence of Mossania. Korvin was alone, truly alone, for the first time in his life. The weight of the solitude pressed down on him, making the air seem denser, the landscape more alien.

The suns of Nareena, distant and faint, cast an otherworldly hue upon the moss-covered ground. Korvin took hesitant steps, each footfall echoing the gravity of his actions that led him here.

The first night was the hardest. The cold was biting, the sounds unnerving. Every rustle, every distant growl, amplified his isolation and vulnerability. But more than the physical discomfort, it was the internal tumult that tormented him. The shame, the anger, the disbelief – emotions battled within, offering no respite.

    As dawn broke, casting twin
