Acknowledgement
Iam so grateful to all the people who supported my achievements and helped me move forward in what I do.
Whatever you’ve done, you will not be forgotten.
The Letter
Tears rolled down my eyes as I stood there... watching people bury my brother’s body.
He was a legend.
The last thing he said to me was to take care of myself.
But how could I, without him?
He was the one who directed my life and put it on the right path. From my birth, it was he who took care of me. My parents were all stuck in their jobs.
He was my parent.
My guardian.
He died for rescuing me from those devilish creatures.
How couldn’t I cry then?
I watched my parents, completely broken inside. My father held my mother’s hand as she was about to fall. My mother was half-dead. She couldn’t digest everything that had happened in the past few months.
Nor could I.
Harry?
It was Jack, the Antichrist, who transformed into a human.
He was the reason for my brother’s death!
Yes,
I replied, with an arrogant tone.
I know you’re angry... and I’m very sorry for this... please forgive me this one time
You’re forgiven, but not forgotten, Jack
He hung his face down, I’m really very sorry
I already said it... you’re forgiven
He rose up, his white face glimmering, not to mention his vampire teeth that hung out.
The funeral was over...
THE DAYS AFTER THAT did not help me calm down. I went to school every day like usual... with students talking behind my back about my journey and how it could’ve been a hoax.
Poor people.
Everywhere I went, people were talking about the journey.
When I come home and check the mail... It is always filled with mail from news channels, magazine creators, and literally, everybody asking for appointments or questions about the journey and my brother’s death.
People are desperate to know if it’s a hoax or not!
But on one typical day, I read this mail from a person who claims to be a historian.
It was just like every other letter, I thought... until I read what was inside:
October 24, 2022
To
Harry Will
5 E 64th St, New York, NY 10065
Dear Harry,
I’m Brandon McAdam, a historian and a part-time engineer.
I know exactly how much pain you’re going through right now. Your brother’s death, the media, people’s talk... I get it. I understand all of it.
But this is not about that.
I can help you.
I understand how much pain you felt because of your brother’s death.
But what if I told you...
You can bring him back?
Meet me at East River Greenway at 9:00 p.m. on October 30.
Waiting,
Brandon McAdam
I was surprised. Bring my brother back?
How sure can I be that it wasn’t a hoax? Does he understand my pain? Is that some way to convince me? How can I
