    The Intro

    By the year 2155 Earth could no longer sustain the growing human population. Mankind's prosperity after surviving near extinction in a civilization-wide baby boom. The leaders of Earth put aside their differences and came together to form Earth United.

    In 2158 Earth United's first summit discussed the environmental risks of population growth. Their first order was to declare childbirth illegal to reduce the populace. Their second order declared that mankind's expansion into space was to be halted. The only exception to this rule was to continue mining Mars for the next order. The council of Earth United concluded their summit with their third order. Additional continents would be constructed over the oceans. These massive manmade landmasses would stand on pillars spread out around the world. The pillars were designed to shift with the tectonic plates of the planet below. The first constructed continent Atlanticanera took seventy-five years to complete.

    The landmass spanned the North Atlantic Ocean connecting four continents with its borders.

    By the year 2250 three other continents were under development. The problem with the new landmasses was only the wealthiest could afford to live there. They left the Natural Earth to the lower class as decades passed and mankind continued to build. As the years went by the laws were lifted on the population, but not for those still living on the Natural Earth. The Council determined children born on the surface would not prosper.

    My life is living proof that they're wrong.

    My name is Hammers Nole, and I was born illegally in 2391 in the Kansas Wastelands of North America. My parents broke a two-hundred-and-fifty-year-old law to give me life. Child birth was a pretty common occurrence despite the ban. Doctors delivered babies in backrooms and family homes at great risk.
