About this ebook

William Sharpe was an acclaimed Scottish writer, he counted WB Yeats and Dante Gabriel Rossetti among his friends. He was therefore very surprised when in 1895 his writing took on a very feminine style. Not only that but the writing was by far superior to anything that he had previously written. He called this feminine energy Fiona McLoud.Over the next fifteen years, he channelled the memories and experiences of this entity. She was real with a personality and consciousness that were entirely separate to those of William Sharp. Her knowledge was ancient and included faery and spiritual lore that pre-dated Christianity. She was also able to give accounts of Christianity being brought to the Scottish Islands by Columba himself. For fifteen years she worked through William revealing the lost ancient lore of faery. She understood perfectly well the problems that created the separation of our two races and sought to reconcile our two peoples. These are her writings. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Mary Ann Benbow

My real name is not Mary Ann Benbow, these are taken from both my maternal and paternal grandmothers. Two wonderful Celtic ladies gave me my roots and a sense of belonging to an ancient race. From them, I inherited my love of Celtic spirituality, and the ability to see and communicate with the gentry or the good people. During my lessons at school, a teacher would often accuse me of being away with the fairies, if only they had known that I often was.
