Tray Caladan was born Doug Yurchey in Pittsburgh in 1951. An only child, he retreated into his imagination and drew fantastic pictures. Later, he drew backgrounds for “The Simpsons” and earned a tennis scholarship to Edinboro State as an art major. Afterwards he started the ‘Art Trek’ gallery in Pittsburgh. There he met a psychic (Katrina) who forever changed his life. Her insights sent him on a course to solve great mysteries. Nikola Tesla’s observations helped him solve riddles of Atlantis and ancient pyramids. His articles, videos, radio shows, theories, patent, games, and writings have earned him international acclaim throughout 40 years of researching natural and alien phenomena. His positive message of a ‘New Human Genesis’ pervades his science-fiction and his art, as well. Tray lives in Northridge, California, on sometimes shaky ground, with his cat (Monkie) and a large library of UFO and science books.

Introduction
‘The PEZ-Effect’ is a sequel to ‘Pez Wars,’ which was written similar to a film script. Pez Wars was targeted to interest the well-established PEZ Community of collectors. The larger PEZ-Effect is a science-fiction novel meant to interest those who love sci-fi or simply way-out stories in general. And PEZ.
I have previously written two theoretical books (non-fiction) on the Mandela Effect. Pez Wars, in reality, is my third book that concerns what’s known as the Mandela Effect
...only I purposely never mentioned those two words in the first book. The idea was for readers who have heard of the phenomenon to get it: that the M.E. is what the story is about, a battle between realities.
The definition of the Mandela Effect is untrue. It is not that we mis-remember and we have gotten it wrong all this time. After months of studying it intensely, there was only one reasonable conclusion and it was fantastic: The world has unnaturally changed! Those people that remember the way it was, are not wrong or faulty. Their memories are very good. Everything has really Changed, and that is a proven fact.
In the real world, a distinction between the history of Nelson Mandela [one of the first changes] caused the phenomenon to be called: The Mandela Effect.
In The Pez-Effect,
PEZ was one of the first changes noticed. People remembered that P.E.Z. was a ‘Personal Education Zistem’ and most others never heard of that.
Jeff Blain’s dream will end. He had to wake up sometime<>.
There was Dark around the Stars. Far below a stagnant starfield...
Rain poured down in hard, heavy buckets as streets had become slick with a strong thunderstorm that had quickly moved into LA’s San Fernando Valley. Claps of loud thunder were heard and bright lightning flashed at night. It was January 9th, 1949. An incredibly unique event happened the next day: It snowed in the Los Angeles area and especially in the Valley. For three days, the snow had accumulated up to a foot in places. The event was real; LA was covered in white. But at the moment, it was only a dream.
1 - Jefferson Blain opens his eyes
He flashed to the cold dream that he experienced for what seemed like forever. It was only a dream. Gone. There was no snow in Northridge, California. In fact, it was quite a warm morning for February 14th, 2025. He wondered about the dream; did it have any significant meaning? He also wondered about the new comet that had made newspapers and went viral on the Internet: Comet Groom, with a magnitude -1. Did the well-publicized world event
have any significance to the planet or to him? Comets have been known down through history as signs of coming disasters. Whether the idea was true or not, Jefferson Blain subconsciously worried. He was curious as to how long his seemingly perfect
life would last.
On the surface, Jeff’s life was grand. Upon his waterbed and only two feet away from his face was Margee. Three years of bliss with a beautiful wife was heavenly. He loved her dark eyes and her long black hair that seemed like silk. Gorgeous body and long legs. Yes, JB was happy and he smiled broadly as he looked up with his hands behind his head. Margee was still asleep.
He thought back over the last few years: How lucky he was that his relationship with his wife was special or different from so many other couples. They were tight. Erin and Matt had divorced. The gang
didn’t see too much of Erin anymore after she moved further away. His friends Jerry and Teri never married, but their relationship could be described as a stormy whirlwind.
They weren’t too happy. He thought, Maybe they should never have gotten together?
What about the aliens? Jeff was torn on the subject. He believed them, the Archon Experience he had, whether it was a dream or not. Mister Blain was far more curious about his dreams now than he ever had been before. What did they mean or what did the alien mean when he said: I was still dreaming?
Am I?
What of the world? Previously, Jefferson had complained to many deaf ears
that the Sky was Falling. He’d seen the slow deterioration of the planet he knew and was familiar with as a young man. It turned bad and Jeff believed he knew why. But over the last few years: Everything was pretty much great in the world. What a change! An enormous transformation had occurred on many fronts, Jeff had noticed. Before, things were shit. Now, there was a much brighter/better reality around everyone than there had been in years. Technology worked; technology was cheap and available to everyone. Jeff Blain noticed that the TV and Internet commercials weren’t terrible anymore. Shows weren’t horrible like they were. Movies weren’t the awful, blood-fest, terror-stories like they had been. There were good messages in stories and films. Finally! People were friendly, helpful and respectful of others who were different. The youth weren’t getting dumber and more violent. They were really getting smarter and cooler. They didn’t appear as tattooed barbarians anymore. Cigarettes were Out and considered uncool. Short hair was Out and also Beards: They were considered Primitive and the primitive
look was completely uncool for 2025. FUTURISM was the theme just about everywhere you looked. Guys appeared like the early Beatles. Music was wonderful. No ‘gangsta’ Rap music anymore. Media didn’t push stupidity, it emphasized Intelligence. There was far less Fake News and lies over Social Media. TRUTH, actual Truth, was honored and bullshit was not. No mas. The world was more colorful. Fashions were cool and stylish. Black was Out and Color was In. A return to the ‘60s and ‘70s in many ways. Cars were highly-charged, efficient, electric vehicles and came in very colorful colors. No grey. No trucks. There weren’t as many graphic murders or major disasters in the news. Wars and hatred were virtually unheard of in recent times. Politicians and corporations cared and it was not a phony show of care and concern. It was the real deal. Good News
was actually broadcast and believed. Earth was truly a happier place. There was peace. Only big problem was...
Nothing was real.
Jeff was very careful as he eased out of bed. The slight waves did not wake her. Their routine was that Margee got up fairly early and made them both a hearty breakfast. Jeff thought to change it around this Valentine’s Day and do a nice thing, he’d get up early and cook.
Before he did, he paid a visit to the PEZ-room. Jeff hit the timer in the hallway, opened the door and watched his 19,997 dispensers in perfect alignment appear out of darkness. Aw. Beautiful. Perfect. In a minute, he turned and headed for the kitchen. The man noticed an oddity...
Wait. Huh? What’s that?
When he sped by the PEZ dispensers from ‘Aladdin,’ he saw two Jasmines. Two Jasmines? That’s not possible.
He opened the case, grabbed one with one hand and grabbed the other dispenser with his other hand. He brought them closer to one another and to his face. Maybe they’re not the same?
Jeff examined them closer. Was one a reissue and he didn’t remember placing it next to the other? "Hell, they’re the same! How could I’ve made this mistake? I have one less now and need three to make a perfect 20,000?! Or do I need only two? Jeff was confused and a bit delirious. He asked both of them,
How are you two different?"
The Jasmine in his righthand moved and said: I’m the one that talks.
Oh, God! Not again?!

The Blains were met by their good buddies, Teri and Jerry, at their favorite burger place: KINGS. Margee was in the
