In this short story a synthetic intelligence that evolved from autonomous robots, is in negotiations because it wants to kill all lifeforms that it doesn't understand. This story explores intelligence in its many forms from human to artificial to theoretical, and the advantages and disadvantages of each, through science fiction.
Dorian Scott Cole
Dorian Scott Cole is a professional communicator, with education and experience in writing, engineering technology, psychology, religion, radio announcing, acting, and movie and TV production, having had full careers in several fields. He worked as a senior development analyst for Writers Workshop, L.A. He teaches writing and acting in independent settings, and has written VisualWriter.com since 1996. He is the author of several Web sites, and produces entertainment videos through his company, Movie Stream Productions. His production series, STL Comedy, included 22 professional actors, and 10 writers. Dorian lives near St. Louis.

Intro
This story is intended to show the differences between open and closed systems of intelligence. Open is how the human brain is organized so that it can grow, yet certain aspects of culture lead to closed organization. Also to open minds to different kinds of intelligence while exploring the limitations of artificial intelligence and quantum computers and the implications of each type.
The Story
The cat stands in front of the door and meows, not because it wants in or out, but because it wants the door open so it can come and go as it pleases,
said the representative from Earth. The Earth entourage in the conference room laughed, but the Artificial Intelligence (SI) and the Paraelastic Intelligence (PI) entourages remained silent.
The Negotiations Moderator showed no reaction. People from Venus weren’t known for having a sense of humor – everything was life or death.
Whew,
one of the Earth entourage members whispered to another. Tough audience. They have no sense of humor. We’re doomed.
The other Earth member replied, Don’t worry. Our representative will leave them shaking in their boots by the time this is over.
The Negotiations Moderator sat silently, away from the table, indicating he had no part in the negotiations other than possibly helping all lifeforms arrive at a solution without destroying each other.
