    Distracted Tennis

A bright yellow tennis ball bounced past Ellie’s new pink and white shoes. She was deep in thought and had forgotten to swing.

They gathered their things and started walking home. They kicked at the fallen leaves scattered on the sidewalk.

"That’s the trouble. I can’t decide. I’m sure it will be my mom or dad. They are the most important
