This book and its story line are based upon my knowledge obtained from public sources such as books and internet searches.
Some comments and information provided are based on personal observations and spiritual experiences along with logical and deductive reasoning, historical facts, and, most importantly, common sense.
I have no inside, covert, unnamed, or otherwise nonpublic sources of information or facts except that which God has shared with me in dreams, visions, and imaginative writings.
Nothing of what is included within this book or others is to be construed, interpreted, or assumed to be official documentation, statement, belief, plan, schedule, or projection of any person, persons, entity, business, church, government body, or spiritual organization of any kind, public or private.
To the best of my knowledge, no federal, state, or local government or church, including laws, statutes, or rules are knowingly or intentionally have been broken or violated in the creation of this and other books.
Bottom line here is that I have taken what I believe to be a good work of fiction based on fact sprinkled with a little imagination to give everyone a little peek into what if this really happened. Or did it and we are unaware?
This being said, I have always wanted to do a disclaimer—for fun!
Enjoy.

I do not write the tales of my life…but God.
Revolution is dedicated to a beloved brother in Christ,
Michael Paul DeMarco,
the mild-mannered man who has the heart of a superhero.

Amor Vincit Omnia
The origin of the phrase is from the Latin poet, Virgil (70 BC–19 BC), who wrote Amor vincit omnia
and was quoted in English by the first great author of English prose, Chaucer (about AD 1350). From Chaucer, the English translation of Amor vincit omnia , Love conquers all,
passed into general usage.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all thing for love never fails. For as you abide in all three; faith, hope and love…of these three—faith, hope and love; the greatest of these is love. For God is love. (Paraphrased from 1 Corinthians 13:7, 8, 13; 1 John 4:8.)
Author’s Note
As told by Michael
Ann Rice wrote a gothic horror story, Interview with a Vampire , back in 1976 during the early years of Eagleton, Colorado. I had never read the book. I was too busy with my college studies and the building of Eagleton. But in 1994, I saw the movie, a drama-horror starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. The movie chronicles the two main character’s time together as immortal companions. The narrative is framed by the present-day interview of a San Francisco news reporter.
You will remember the interviews that were done by Tommy Crow and presented to Matt as part of the DeMarco brother’s story line that told of their life’s adventures with their friends. I wanted Revolution to continue that format, thus the interviews and life stories of Seth, Marcus, and the transition of myself.
I chose to do Revolution with Seth and Marcus without even the thought of the movie Interview with a Vampire. Looking back now, I see the correlation between the two books. I too interviewed two vampires and their immortal life stories with the help of my grandnephew, Mitchell. And, of course, my narrative is framed by this present-day interviewer along with the author of Twin Memoirs.
But my interviews bring out a different story line, a different beginning for both Seth and Marcus, a different genre, resulting in a different ending. Claudia was the third vampire within the movie, a twelve-year-old girl. The third vampire in this story fulfills the destiny of the first two vampires and creates a new American superhero, Salvatore and his cross-bearers.
And who was that fourth vampire, a wolf disguised in sheep’s clothing, a mere boy of seventeen of a Native American wolf clan, a shape-shifter who never knew he was a vampire—a dark vampire at that—who helped destroy his own creator, the original dark vampire.
I never believed in vampires. I had never met one. But they did exist. This book is proof of it. The facts are all there. Believe it or not, vampires did exist at one time and continue to exist in the imagination of the authors writing my story and in the minds of movie and television-show creators.
Matt told his story and mine in Twin Memoirs. This is my story, the facts, the true reality of those things that go bump in the night. They do exist. There is a boogeyman lurking in the shadows or hiding under your bed.
And the man-wolf reality with Kiowa, the seventeen-year-old boy. When God is involved, all things are possible with Him who believes. Who are we to say that myths and legends do not exist. Believe me, they do. Did Frankenstein survive the centuries, thus creating the movie I, Frankenstein?
And what about Dracula? He was real. Where else do you get the material to write books and do movies? In the mind of man? Experiences in life? Maybe both?
By the way, dark vampires do not exist anymore. I am the new superhero beyond Batman, beyond Superman, and beyond Spiderman and the Avengers. He is…or should I say, I am the new Revolution in superhero genre.
See the appendix for pictures of us as we reveal ourselves to you. Sometimes visuals make each character come alive. Damien is a handsome boy. No wonder he got away with things in life—I mean, in death. Normally, vampires cannot be photographed. Seth, Marcus, Thierry, and I, with our special skills as vampires of light, can allow technology through our veil of secrecy and invisibility. Remember, we are vampires of light. Therefore, we can illuminate a photo if we so choose. Dark vampires cannot.
It is Damien who is half vampire. What? A half-breed immortal? Is there such a thing? Mr. model boy, Mr. vanity, Mr. get-away-from-that-mirror. Yes, Damien could see his reflection in the mirror. Every hair had to be perfect and in place. Okay, look who’s talking. I understand his fascination with mirror and comb.
He did look good on the cover of Men’s Health and GQ.
Preface
Arevolution (from the Latin revolutio , meaning a turn-around
) is a fundamental change in power that takes place in a relatively short period of time. Revolutions have occurred through human history and vary widely in terms of methods, duration, and motivating ideology. Their results include major changes in culture, economy, and socio-political institutions. Revolutions involve changing myths and legends into facts.
Scholarly debates about what does and does not constitute a revolution center around several issues. Early studies of revolutions primarily analyzed events in European history from a psychological perspective, but more modern examinations include global events and incorporate perspectives from several social sciences, including sociology and political science. Several generations of scholarly thought on revolutions have generated many competing theories and contributed much to the current understanding of this complex phenomenon. In a simple word, confusion.
A French classical scholar, Alexis de Tocqueville, differentiated between political revolutions, or coup d’état (kuːdeɪˈtɑː, French) which are sudden and violent revolutions that seek not only to establish a new political system but to transform an entire society, and social revolutions that are slow but sweeping transformations of the entire society that take several generations to bring about (e.g. religion).
Revolution is the latter; a slow and sweeping transformation of an entire population that takes several generations to attempt to bring it about. This revolution is a religious (spiritual) battle between good and evil; spirit and flesh. This revolution begins before the end of the first century and ends just before the twenty-first century. This was a two-thousand-year-old revolution in the making.
Today, I am called Salvatore, pronounced Sal-va-tor. I’ve accepted that name, therefore leaving my personal signature of an embossed card with a circular impression of IHS at each, should I say, sighting or encounter.
I’m here to set the record straight. My name was Michael Paul DeMarco. Today I am known as Mykel Marquesa, so called after my death, and known to the world as Salvatore. (I will use my name interchangeably between Michael and Mykel for no apparent reason throughout this book.) My partners in crime, so to speak, were Seth and Marcus, who have long since departed my company. Thierry is my sidekick, and Damien could be considered the Albert of this dynamic duo. I was born in Aspen Springs, Colorado, in 1940 and died of AIDS in 1995. So you may ask, why is my story being published in 2019?
I am no longer who you think I was. This is our story, Seth, Marcus, and mine, a history rewritten by those who lived it. Enter in, later, Thierry and Damien, my partners in crime…prevention. As God would put it, we are the new salvation of the world. By the way, if you thought it, Salvatore does not mean salvation.
Fact or Fiction
Nothing Is Impossible with God
What I am about to tell might change your opinion of folklore into truth. Are we the only species on this planet? Are there other types of humans, aliens, species that came before us and/or that live among us now?
The answer to both questions is yes. Stay tuned for Resurrection after volumes 5 and 6 of Twin Memoirs.
I gave you a positive, spiritual answer above in the subtitle. But let us, for now, base my discussion on scientific fact.
Over fifty thousand years ago, the Homo floresiensis lived is West Flores Island of Indonesia. It wasn’t until 2003 that the bones of this human species were discovered. The locals call these people the Ebu Gogo.
The Neanderthal came about forty thousand years ago and roamed over Europe and Western Asia up until the last ice age nearly twenty thousand years ago. Of course, this contradicts the Bible and the creation of man being just six thousand years old.
In 2008, the Denisovan species was discovered that roamed the Tibet-Nepal area nearly twenty thousand years ago. This species could have remained until seven thousand years ago. They provided us a DNA sequence that still survives today. That gene is the EPAS1 and is part of the Tibetan genetic variance which allows the Tibetan people a long-term survival advantage at altitudes above fifteen thousand feet.
At altitudes of fifteen thousand feet, other humans which do not have the EPAS1 gene can only survive short term due to the increase production of red blood cells to produce oxygen. The blood thickens, and this thickening blood, long term, can lead to a host of life-threatening medical complications.
Tibetan Sherpas, who aid Mount Everest expeditions, were tested for this EPAS1 gene through the University of California at Berkeley where Matt and I started our college studies.
The probability of this data represented interbreeding of the Tibetans and Denisovan resulted in as early as seven thousand years ago, or 250 generations, and as long as fifteen thousand years ago, or over 500 generations ago.
Biblical accounts then start around 4000 BC, which is six thousand years ago as already mentioned. Homo is the genus that comprises the species Homo sapiens, which includes modern humans even though this term might go back even farther.
My species, which I will expand on throughout this book, came about just recently, almost two thousand years ago, created by God Himself, and still exists today through me, the last of my kind, the last of the vampires of light.
Therefore, nothing is impossible when God is involved.
Let us look just at the twentieth century and its discoveries of unknown species. In 1901, the okapi, Okapia johnstoni, was discovered in Africa.
In 1902, the mountain gorilla, Gorilla beringei beringei was discovered. The discovery of this mountain gorilla brought about the tales of King Kong.
Can you see, even believe, what nature creates and evolves can create an epic, panoramic vision across a movie screen.
In 1929, another great ape was discovered, the Bonobo, Pan paniscus.
In 1937, in the jungles of Cambodia, the kouprey, a cattle-like animal with horns, was discovered.
In 1992, a wild ox, the saola, Pseudoryx nghetinhensis, was discovered.
And the yeti of Tibet and Nepal, does it exist, and does it contain the Denisovan DNA? What about the undiscovered creatures that lie deep within our unexplored oceans? And the sightings of Bigfoot of the Northwest USA? And the wood ape of Eastern Oklahoma?
So why not a new species in the twenty-first century? Let’s call them vampire sapiens, of which I now reveal myself. Originally a human being that has been transformed into a nonhuman. Most stories, legends, and folklore are based on fact. The fact is, vampires, both of darkness and those of light like me, did (dark) and do (light) exist today.
Here is my story. Remember and keep in mind anything is possible with God. Reread the facts above for the possibilities. And explore for yourself with the unlimited amount of information available to us on the Internet.
Be honest with yourself. Didn’t Satan create evil to destroy man, God’s creation? And didn’t God create good to destroy evil? The Bible is documented evidence of those facts.
Satan created evil (dark) for revenge. God created good (light) for the revolution against evil. And we all know who wins, right?
Introduction: Interview with a Vampire
Interview with a Vampire
July 6, 2018
Author’s Note: The style of the interview has changed with technology. This interview was solely done through FaceTime. There was no personal face-to-face interview. Technology has replaced the interpersonal relationships between the human species. But this interview, this interpersonal contact, was not between the human species. It was between two phyla, one which had never been categorized.
As the interviewee put it…well, let’s just join the transcribed conversation.
Interviewer. Your thoughts concerning the celebration of America’s independence of our 242 years of freedom.
Mykel. I am Lakota Sioux born of the Oglala tribe. To this day, those of us who are not of Eurocentric birth are still not free. Just ask my other minority brothers.
Interviewer. Were you not born in the USA?
Mykel. I was born in Aspen Springs, Colorado, of half-Sioux and half-Polynesian parents, both of which are not of Eurocentric decent. Therefore, half plus half equals full-blooded non-Eurocentric birth.
Interviewer. Then why do you fight for the American way?
Mykel. I fight for God. For God is love. Man is of hate, greed, and lust.
Interviewer. You seem bitter. Are you?
Mykel. I might seem dark and contradictory to the human heart. But I am a light to the spiritual eye. What lens are you looking through? Rose-shaded?
Interviewer. So why were you chosen to help save the world?
Mykel. I don’t know. My human life didn’t deserve a second chance. I was egotistical, self-centered, and self-fulfilling, and surely sexually motivated, which caused my human downfall.
Interviewer. How so?
Mykel. Read the damn series my brother wrote, Twin Memoirs.
Interviewer. You seem so hostile.
Mykel. You seem so human.
Interviewer. So how do we continue with some benevolence?
Mykel. The truth! Mankind sucks! As long as we intertwine humanity with spirituality, we will have conflict! Read the fucking Bible, the flesh is stronger than the spirt in most people. Therefore, it’s the eventual downfall of society. It takes pure spirituality, or the attempt at it, to overcome the flesh of humanity.
Interviewer. You feed on the flesh… So do you prefer humanity over…what is your species?
Mykel. I’m fortunate. I was created by God without the conflict of humanity. Humanity is the downfall of spirituality. I thank God humanity was taken out of my equation. You can, therefore, call me a superhuman, but I prefer the term spiritually gifted, like Jesus was.
Interviewer. But you have shown human characteristics, especially gay tendencies and vulgar displays of sexual behavior in your concerts.
Mykel. I must appeal to the human psyche to get the attention of a race of people who have no morals, no values, no ethics. Yes, there are a few humans that surpass humanity such as my mother, whom I have compared to Mother Theresa.
Interviewer. So if your mother was a Mother Theresa, how could she have borne a human child like you?
Mykel. To show God there is hope in the lost. I was a fucked-up human being.
Interviewer. And now?
Mykel. To prove that prayer works. By the way, check my mom’s callused knees. I’m going to be so bold as to say my mom’s prayers were heard by God.
Interviewer. How so?
Mykel. Are you so blind? Look at me! I helped rid the world of an evil element.
Interviewer. To me, you seem so egotistical.
Mykel. Blunt is more accurate. Sometimes the truth hurts. And if you can get by the hurt…the truth will set you free.
Interviewer. Quoting scripture again?
Mykel. As a product of God, I’m proud to say yes.
Interviewer. Or a crutch? An excuse?
Mykel. Your humanity seems challenged?
Interviewer. Are you playing God?
Mykel. And you’re being so human. I was made in the image of God. I am a mini god. I too need to perfect my soul just as any human does. We are all in the same boat, the Ark of spirituality, a sinking ship.
Interviewer. Why did you accept immortality?
Mykel. To right the wrongs of my inferior mortality of humanity.
Interviewer.
