About this ebook

When we look at the world today, we see that black people seem to be last or minorities in everything. Moreover, blacks are having more problem with the law, the police, being killed by police, more than any other races of people. There are other races of people who are planning and are happy to exploit and take advantage of blacks or black countries all the time… One for example is today in this twenty-first century in 2018. Chinese are taking over a radio station and the police department of the country of Zambia in Africa. What a shame… The big question is, WHY? Mr. Fridolin Yaovi Avouglan since his arrival in San Diego, California, USA, in 1970 to today, has decided to answer the big question of "WHY?" And inform all the people of the world and especially the other races such as the white, the Chinese and Asian, the Indian, the Latinos North and South, the Arabs who never suffered the ordeal of the black African and the black American including all the blacks in the Caribbean Islands that it is time for them to be inform about the black people's journey from AD 1500 to today in 2018. In the book Black Tree, White Tree: Why the Difference, Mr. Fridolin tries to inform other races of the world about black people's ordeals, and at the same time, he tries to call the black people of the world to be aware of where we were in the past, where we are today, and how we need to build a new tomorrow for ourselves and our generation and the generation of our generation. As all other races of people are continuing to build on what they already have, we also need to begin to rebuild our family and lives that were destroyed. We cannot wait for anyone to do it for us, and we should know that none will do it for us; it is our responsibility to rebuild our destroyed lives and families. Black people in African countries are still under the control of the white European race who knowingly places dictators to lead those countries after they had managed to assassinate all the earlier African leader who desired to liberate their countries. They have done so to enable them to continue to ravage the resources of those countries depriving the citizens of rule of law, justice, and freedom necessary ingredient for development of any country. No wonder why conflict is so prevalent in Africa countries. The author urge African Americans to begin to come to the rescue of African countries after they have rebuild their own lives so that one day we can all truly be free at last. I believe that the 70 percent of other races who are good human being will come to support every effort of the black people to rebuilt their lives. Many white had march side by side with black people before for black people causes. We are all human beings created in the image of God. But for those whites who hate black people and considered themselves to be superior to the blacks, I urge black people to forgive them when anyone asks for forgiveness and let God Almighty to be the judge of man's action. Let Jesus Christ be your guide…

    Introduction

Ipray God Almighty to give me the strength, the wisdom, and the love to present these issues to help my people. The people of Africa and all the descendants of Africa, especially my people in Togo, need to go beyond where we have been in this world, and where we are today to enable us to put ourselves and our country where it should be tomorrow. It is for the benefit of all our people, from north to south and from east to west, to make our country Togo, one of the best in Africa, as the country of Swiss is in Europe.

When I say white tree and black tree, I refer to the people of Africa. We the black people and the people of Europe, the white people. For this book, I do not include the people of Asia, the Arabs or the Chinese because the issues in this book concern the people of black Africa and the people of white Europe. I do not imply, however, that some Asian countries did not suffer some of the abomination and horrible incidents that black African people have suffered, but for reasons that are specifically concerning black people, I prefer the issues to be of the white European people and the black African people.

In this book, I want to prove beyond doubt to every black African person that the condition of the black people in the past since 1500 AC or the black person today was based on actions by the white people of Europe. What Africans will become tomorrow depends on the leaders of the people of Africa and from the determination of African men and women to change their own destiny.

I hope by presenting the conditions and issues to every reader of this book, everyone may take a new direction on how they look at Africans, and every African will make the decision on how to make their country great for the benefit of the people. Will the leader continue the old narrow-minded, selfish actions, and decisions led by ignorance to reduce a whole nation to suffering, apathy, and degeneration that is so visible in many African countries?

Today, as we see in many African countries that embrace dictatorship, the one man rule and regression instead of advancement. This is simply because of selfishness and self-satisfaction at every cost possible without the true concern and love or vision for all people where they are leaders of a country. There are leaders today who ravage most of the wealth and resources of the country for themselves, friends, families, and tribe men. One can see them all fat with broad shoulders and rounded stomachs sitting in the parliament chairs or many other assemblies where the issues of the nation are discussed without actions.

Thus, forgetting the country’s hospitals are empty of equipment to give basic life support to the people. We have teachers, professors, and school classes empty of necessities to help the teachers without ever speaking about salary for those who perform the real work of educating the nation’s future generations. There are officers of police today who cannot perform their tasks to carry out the law of the nation because of the actions of an arrogant superior. When it comes to justice, there are judges who are blinded by corruption and self-power living which will allow the injured to continue to suffer injustices. There are lawyers who receive payment, but never defend adequately the injured person living impossible injustice. There are cases (dossiers) that appear before the same judge in the same tribunal (courtroom) two to sometimes six times without any justice or decision given for the plaintiff. What a travesty of justice for the injured person to continue to suffer or bear month after month the heavy weight of injustice. I hope this book gives all injured people of Africa some consolation until God Almighty may one day embrace them with joy and peace in His everlasting kingdom. How long will it take for Africa to change for its people? That is the question one should ponder.

Though we hear the leaders of some countries loudly speak of democracy and rule of law, they continue at home to protect the one man’s rule. They walk over the will of the people. They consistently transfer or change the constitution of the country to allow them to run as president for eternity. They use the army of the country to protect themselves against the people. They place the legislative, the assembly, the court of justice, and the executive (presidency) all into the same basket. This is how they decree decisions that protect their interests leaving the people all in silence and desperately knowing nowhere to turn. One may hear about the words of reform, freedom, reconciliation, and equality, but for the governance of the nation, the resources remain in the hands of the same people or tribe in the country decade after decade. They talk about words of peace, but having no justice for the people. Here, people or countries of many resources and wealth are resigned to live in poverty and acceptance because the wealth of the county is in the hands of a very few. A wise man is not surprised why conflict and war continue to exist in Africa, where African unity, Ecowas, and all other organizations exist. Why are the African Union Ecowas and all other bodies so powerless to resolve Africa’s problems? The answer is simple. Those organizations are controlled by the same corrupted leaders whose behavior the organization must change.
