Foreword
I know that to become a citizen of the United States of America is a very important thing. A person who is a citizen has many great privileges. Citizenship contains the key that opens many opportunities in this great country. Also, it gives a person an overwhelming joy to be a part of this great government.
As a citizen of this country, you will also have certain responsibilities and duties. These include upholding its laws and defending it against all its enemies, foreign or domestic, if there is a need to do so.
This booklet is designed to help those foreign-born persons who want to become American citizens and who are permitted this privilege. I assure you that this booklet will provide you great help in preparing for your naturalization examination. This booklet is arranged very simply. The several separate lessons in question-and-answer form will instruct you about our government and our history.
I promise you that anyone who studies this booklet will find that the naturalization examination is without difficulty. From these lessons, you will learn a lot of information about the government of the United States of America.
Truly yours,
Nikolaos Psillakis
