Introduction to Sherlockian Resurrection
Arthur Conan Doyle created one of the most famous characters in detective fiction. Sherlock Holmes has been gracing our literature, movies, plays and even video games for over 100 years. His genius of forensic analysis of finger prints, cigarette ash and code breaking set a standard which is still used and enhanced upon today. Television shows such as CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds and Elementary use these extraordinary techniques such as DNA analysis all started with what A. Conan Doyle created for our famous consulting detective. Without these tools crime solving would be impossible. However, what would happen if there was no body to examine or any forensic evidence to test. What would Sherlock do? How could he solve a 2000 year old mystery that is still being questioned today?
In Sherlockian Resurrection Sherlock is given just such a task. He must rely solely on his deductive reasoning searching the Bible and other historic documentation as to how and if Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead.
Sherlock Holmes has often said, How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
And You know my method. It is founded upon the observation of trifles.
It is the trifles that Holmes will sift through to find the truth.
Along the way he will meet historical characters and be instrumental in other adventures. He will be given a task which to the ordinary individual would seem impossible. His faithful companion Dr. John Watson will not accompany him or help until years after Sherlock analyzes all his data and facts. It will take place when Sherlock ‘disappeared’ from the public eye and thought dead. And as Christ he must rise again. A. Conan Doyle wanted to be rid of his creation to pursue other things and write other stories. He ‘killed’ off his creation for over three years but because of a public outcry had to resurrect Sherlock from the dead. This is purely a work of fiction and in no way am I trying to influence your core beliefs. However, as Holmes as also said, You observe but you do not see.
It is simply food for thought. But research the facts for yourself. Please enjoy.

Holmes Relates His Amazing Story to Watson
My friend Holmes had been semiretired since 1912 but had occasionally assisted the empire in espionage work during the Great War. He had lived in seclusion devoting his time to beekeeping since the end of the conflict, taking on an occasional case here and there. The death of his brother, Mycroft, was a severe blow, and the detective was exhausted. It was in Christmas 1920, I think, when he related a story to me that had profound significance in his spiritual life.
Because of the empire’s involvement with the Jews and their petition to return to Zion or Palestine, Holmes was inspired to solve this great mystery.
It had first started during Holmes’s disappearance after the Reichenbach Falls incident. As my readers will remember, Holmes and Professor Moriarty had both tumbled over the falls and assumed to have perished in the turbulent waters below. As I later found out, Holmes had escaped death but forced to go into hiding for about four years from 1891 to 1894. Holmes had not confided in me during those years simply because he was my good friend and feared for my life. He felt that Moriarty’s henchman would have tortured and killed me if they thought I had known of Holmes’s escape and whereabouts. I learned later that only Holmes’s brother, Mycroft, had known of Holmes’s situation and whereabouts and, of course, Sebastian Moran and the rest of Moriarty’s gang. Moran had tried to kill Holmes at the falls and again three years later.
As I perused the morning Times, I clipped an article out for further study. Holmes had not yet awakened when I heard a knock at the door. About two weeks ago, Holmes hired this new housekeeper. She brought in our breakfast dishes and laid them on the table. Just as she was finishing, Holmes entered the room. Good morning, my dear Watson. I’m sorry you didn’t get too much sleep last night, but tell me, why you are interested in the empire and Zionism?
How on earth did you deduce that, Holmes?
I knew my friend for over thirty years and was aware of his extraordinary deductive powers, but even this was too much.
Watson, Watson! You know my methods. You should be able to tell me!
replied Holmes.
I looked around the room, then at myself, and thought I knew. Aha! You saw me through the door keyhole before you came in.
"Good, Watson, but again, you observe but do not see! The dark circles under your eyes gave away your sleepless night. I also heard you pacing your room early this morning, earlier than your usual awake time. As for your interest in the Times, you have printer’s ink on your right sleeve, and as I know you to be a fastidious dresser, I knew you had just smudged it. As to the article, it lies on the floor after you cut it out. Again, Watson, you fail to see everything. What was invisible to you was visible to me. Always look for the small things for they, my dear fellow, are the important clues.
Holmes, you continue to amaze me, although after your explanation, it seems quite simple guesswork.
Watson, you know I never guess at anything!
Holmes replied, chagrinned.
I meant no offense. I should have realized.
None taken, Watson. Just teasing. You must allow my feeble attempt at humor, my friend. So, why the interest?
I’ve been following the government’s interest in the area of Palestine and the Jewish people for a number of years. It seems that the Zionist, a small anarchist group has been trying to recruit people to return to Palestine and the ancient home of the Jewish people in hopes of achieving a future homeland. This Zionist group started in the late 1890s headed by—
Yes, Theodor Herzl is the outspoken leader. I was involved in a case in which a terrorist group tried to assassinate him. I had a little part in trying to prevent it,
Holmes said, non-committing.
Holmes, you’ve never told me of this. When did it occur?
It was when I was in hiding from Moriarty and his gang of thieves and murderers. I never brought it up since you could not publish the story in the Strand as you have done with several other cases we have been involved. It would have jeopardized the current undertakings by our government.
Can you tell me now? There will be no mention of it as I have done in several other sensitive cases.
"Certainly, give me a moment to recollect all the facts. Not as good as I once was in quick memory recall. Problems of age, no doubt. This story will be told someday but
