Introduction
This is a story that I was inspired to write.
Some of the events in this story were based on a true story.
—David Ellis Earley, III
Episode 1
The War of Independence
After twelve years of war with foreign countries and suffering natural disasters, the United States is weakened to the point that their economy and government is on the verge of collapse.
Underwater massive volcanic eruptions are taking place deep out in the Pacific Ocean, forming new continents and islands.
Two-thirds of the United States’ own government break away, forming a Christian rebellion after America turns its back on God, shutting Christianity out of schools and public places to live as an ungodly nation.
Proudly choosing the Christian flag as their own national flag and the wolf as their nation’s symbol, the Christian rebellion quickly declares its new name as The Christian Republic of Independence.
U.S. Senator Bryant D. Hodgett steps up as acting president of the Christian Republic of Independence.
The CRI settles their newly formed nation on one of the new continents deep out in the Pacific Ocean.
After he is sworn into the office of CRI, President Bryant D. Hodgett gives his intentions for his people: To serve one nation under god!
Narrator. Deep out in the Pacific Ocean, there is an enormous explosion in the sea bed so powerful and massive the explosion breaks through the surface, sending molten lava and magma forming new continents and islands. The United States has just gathered for a congressional meeting. U.S. Senator Bryant D. Hodgett, along with two-thirds of the U.S. Senate, Congress, House of Representatives, military dignitaries, men and women of the cloth, and Christians, meet in a private, secure location as Hodgett addresses the secret meeting.
Hodgett. Ladies and gentlemen, this meeting is now in session. My fellow friends—men and women of the cloth—as you are well aware by this time, our country has betrayed our forefathers, completely turning its back on God by shutting out prayers in the schools and living as an ungodly nation.
We are Christians! This very country we call the United States of America was founded upon the sole purpose to worship God in spirit, truth, and unity, with liberty and justice for all.
This nation is perishing with its own sins. The time is at hand, my fellow Christians, to step up your faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To do what we as Christians must do and serve him. This means war, my friends!
We have secretly stored away currency, weapons, medical supplies, and food for the past twelve years. According to the census, the U.S. is on the verge of bankruptcy and an economic collapse, all due to America’s multiple wars and the natural disasters that have happened. She is a weak and feeble nation at this point. Now is the time if we are going to attack!
Narrator. Hodgett is quickly sworn into office as the first-acting president of the Christian Republic of Independence, and he gives his first emergency state of the union address.
President Hodgett. Thank you, my fellow Christian Republic of Independence, for our people and our independence.
We have come a long way—we have worked very hard for what we have sacrificed for, and by that, I speak about our freedom, our justice, and our liberty to serve the true living God with all of our hearts. As your president, I speak the truth when I say to you all America will perish in their corruption of sin, which began on or about June 1962 when America shut God and prayer out of their public schools.
We are a newly formed Christian nation under God. We stand for justice and liberty for all. The Lord is a sovereign-and-mighty God. Let us all remember how our father in heaven delivered the Israelite people out of the hands of the Egyptians, and then God destroyed the entire Egyptian army.
We will overcome this evil, my people. Our independence is in God. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all of your hearts. Let us Christians prosper from this point and continue in prayer. May the Lord’s blessing be on each and every one of you, and may God bless you all. Thank you.
Narrator. With that, CRI president Hodgett concludes his first state of the union address to the Christian Republic of Independence. During the wee hours of the night, the United States is attacked by its own rebellion. After thirty days of war, the United States is finally overpowered.
In a desperate state of despair, they call upon their joint allies for help. Much to their surprise, their own allies refused to help them.
U.S. allies. No, we will not render you our assistance. We will not help a country that is conflicting within itself with its own people.
Narrator. The United States is shocked by this response.
Meeting with the U.S. Secretary of War and the U.S. National Security Advisors, the president quickly realizes they are impossibly outnumbered by the CRI.
Elsewhere, others within the Christian Republic of Independence peacefully go about their separate ways to claim power and territory over some of the new unclaimed continents for their countries and provincial kingdoms. Yet first, they had to swear an oath of loyalty to CRI president Hodgett and his joint allies.
Sir Charles Oliver claims one-fourth of the Earth’s moon for his kingdom. The moon’s orbit had shifted slightly, allowing oxygen with light gravity capable of sustaining life forms.
Sir Charles has his followers build a floating palace made of pure crystals. There he proclaims himself King Charley and names his new kingdom (under construction) Chandelor City.
King Charley elects a very close friend of his as grand vizier/butler, the young Mr. Pugg.
Mr. Pugg personally oversees the construction of Chandelor City.
Former U.S. Secretary of State Maa Kaa Tee quickly claims one of the smaller newly formed continents, naming it Yackahbibrink. She is joined by other former U.S. officials and her band of followers. There she proclaims herself Empress Maa Kaa Tee of Yackahbibrink. She elects one of her close top followers, Galeeto Costo, and appoints him Ambassador Costo of Yackahbibrink.
Before long, the Christian Republic of Independence capital is finally completed. Their continent is called Liberty, and their capital city is named Independence. The president’s house is named Centennial Palace.
President Hodgett is quickly moved into Centennial Palace, where he takes immediate action, warning the U.S. to let his people have their independence and any attempt to stop them will be considered an act of war. In this case, his military
