About this ebook

In January of 2012, a new theory was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. Our universe's galaxies appeared to all be accelerating outward! What was causing this continuous acceleration was claimed to be dark energy. This appeared to convince the Nobel Prize Committee that these astrophysicists would eventually solve the mystery of dark energy.

As a highly experienced retired problem solver looking for a juicy challenge, I realized that it was quite possible that this team of physicists had created a mystery worthy of my skill as an accomplished problem solver. Possibly I might successfully discover any flaw in their theory.

However, I realized that without my knowing what really created our universe, it would have been nearly impossible for me to solve this problem. So instead I began to search the universe for mysteries that might suggest what could have created our universe. I found seventeen, which all suggested that for one reason or another, it had to be some sort of a violent collision that could have created our universe (as opposed to the explosion predicted in the big bang theory).

Each of these seventeen theories turned out to have great significance in proving what far more likely created our universe. This would also include my discovery that the big bang theory could not possibly have created our universe. Additionally it would prove that our universe's galaxies are all actually decelerating back to the origin as originally believed, invalidating the hypothesis that our universe's galaxies are all accelerating outward, with scientifically credible proof supporting this claim--the claim that if two black holes had been far enough apart and collided at a great enough speed, they could have expelled enough physical matter to have created our universe.

These seventeen mysteries contributed to my success in solving the mystery of what led directly into the cosmic collision theory, which also helped to solve some of the seventeen mysteries and proved that our universe's galaxies are all decelerating back to the origin, the enormous black hole at the center of our universe.

Additionally there's a chapter in this theory proving that Albert Einstein's search for his hypothetical cosmological constant could never have resulted in establishing his constant. It would have always been his "inconstant," constantly varying! This same condition also applies to Edwin Hubble's search for a similar constant to use in simplifying his findings with no luck. This cosmic collision theory also solves these mysteries.

If this cosmic collision theory is correct, every one of our universe's galaxies will eventually decelerate back to the origin. Don't panic! This might take at least a billion or more years or so, giving our civilization the time to discover another inhabitable planet to move to, preferably in a much more distant galaxy in our universe! How we would get there is for future scientists to figure out.

FYI, this writer is now going into his ninety-second year. It consumed some nine years of research and contemplation to develop this almost-all-inclusive theory of almost everything pertaining to the current existence of our universe.

Note: This cosmic collision theory is written completely in conversational English suitable for all readers from high school and up. There are no equations, charts, or Greek symbols! The typical reader will have little problem in understanding the explanations in plain English.

    DEDICATION

To my wife, Gabrielle—my wise and loving wife, who put up with my antics for our sixty-eight years of marriage! This theory would never have been written without your supporting this one-man project. You were my Cosmic Collision Theory enabler. Without your opinion, advice, and motivation, I never would have completed the theory. It was also your fabulous meals that kept me going!

Almost as important, it was Neil de-Grasse Tyson’s Astrophysics for People in a Hurry, which lured me to the field of astrophysics! Especially Mr. Tyson’s brilliant two-paragraph treatment of the big bang theory! Little did I suspect that your book is what began the hatching of this book, the Cosmic Collision Theory!

Additionally, to all my friends and relatives, I apologize for not singling out any of these friends, coworkers, and other individuals for all the pestering they put up with in my attempting to get feedback on my efforts. I thank you all who responded for the support.

Especially I must single out my former teacher Lynn Halper, the leader of the Tarrytown Warner Library writers’ group, who gave me my start, advice, guidance, and support in my effort to turn this retired former senior staff engineer into a competent writer. My apologies for all those I pestered in search of advice.

To Dr. Roger E. Meyer, cousin and adviser, we have spent a great many hours arguing which way is better. His advice appears to have enhanced my concept of what would be a better way to deliver some of the more important content in this theory. I sincerely thank you for your continuous support.

Finally, to Howard Mark, my friend and long-term associate coworker and scientific genius, who spent hours teaching me the rules of theoretical wizardry and who has already distinguished himself with a number of successful very technical publications. I sincerely recognize his many hours of bending my ears, discussing my many needs as a student in theoretical cosmology, while recommending important scientific books to improve my understanding of cosmology in general.

This theory includes the following findings:

The Big Bang theory could not possibly have created our universe!

The Cosmic Collision theory more likely created our universe!

Our universe’s Galaxies are all more likely decelerating back to the origin, our centralized Black Hole!

Dark Energy could not have caused our galaxies to accelerate outward!

Our universe’s galaxies are all sequentially decelerating back to the origin!

Cosmological Constants do not not exist in our universe!

Our universe is only one of many that also may exist in this vast Magniverse.

    INTRODUCING THE COSMIC COLLISION THEORY!

It credibly solves the mystery of what likely created our universe. It also simultaneously solves seventeen of its current mysteries!

    *****

My methodology? I searched for mysteries that might suggest what could have created our universe. I found seventeen with clues suggesting a similar solution to the mystery of what created our universe, solving these seventeen mysteries as well!

    *****

It includes solving the mystery of why our universe’s galaxies all appear to be accelerating outward but are all decelerating back to the origin, our universe’s centralized black hole.

    *****

This theory also solves the mysteries of Albert Einstein’s cosmological constant, Hubble constant, why our galaxies spin either clockwise or counterclockwise, why every galaxy is spinning at the same rotational velocity, why our solar system’s planets are all orbiting in the same plane as our sun’s plane, and why most of the biggest black holes are at the limits of our universe!

    PREFACE

Welcome. I’m Victor G. Lipshutz, first-time author and teacher in this adventure involving my proposed cosmic collision theory and the basic details of what I claim created our universe, as well as the interesting details of how I solved seventeen of the current mysteries in our universe. (Note: This is not a typo!)

One of these mysteries, you will discover, is an example of the observations and findings made which contradict the current belief regarding the hypothesis that our universe’s galaxies are all accelerating outward. Yes, I recognize that this is indeed an incredible accomplishment for a ninety-one-year-old novice in the field of cosmology. I don’t blame anyone who suspects this is some sort of a joke.

Trust me. What follows is a serious treatment of a highly significant treatise on what far more likely created our universe, an introduction to the reader to the existence of what I refer to as the Magniverse, proof that our universe’s galaxies are actually all decelerating back to the origin, scientifically credible proof that our universe’s hypothetical big bang theory is invalid, and credible proof that our universe was created by a powerful collision of two black holes which originated in the Magniverse, also proving that our Magniverse exists.

Furthermore, it suggests that the two black holes which collided had to have originated in the Magniverse and that they were previously two other universes which eventually collapsed into two black holes, which eventually created our universe.

Furthermore, it proves that the troublesome cosmological constant is unverifiable due to the movement characteristics of our universe’s galaxies, and it also proves that the same problem exists with the Hubble constant. It does not exist.

It also solves the mystery of why all our galaxies are spinning at nominally the same velocity and why our galaxies spin approximately half in one direction and half in the other direction.

Etc. for the rest of the seventeen mysteries in our universe!

Note that, in this instance, I’m not only a so-called problem solver; but I am also a scientist seeking the truth. That’s what is incumbent of the prospective scientist.

As the author of this cosmic collision theory, in a scientifically correct goal, there are several instances in which my findings oppose existing beliefs, sometimes unaware that they may be incorrect. It is these occasions that I do not relish because science must seek the truth.

In this treatise, there are a number of truths discovered which oppose existing beliefs, such as in the above examples in these instances. I apologize for the unavoidable result of putting down these beliefs in the interest of advancing science. This, of course, ignores the possibility that some of my findings may be invalid; and I sincerely apologize for any erroneous statements I may have made.

The findings revealed in this cosmic collision theory will go against the theory which presently is a belief, not science. This would include the belief that our universe was created by what is referred to as the big bang, which unavoidably contradicts the more likely truth represented in this theory, namely that it is far more likely that our universe’s galaxies are all decelerating back to the origin, the site of an enormous centralized black hole created during the collision phase. It is clear that this centralized black hole is the gravitational center of our universe.

Additionally the current belief is that our universe’s galaxies are all accelerating outward, in which this claimed acceleration is unsupported. It fails to provide a valid theory regarding what is causing this acceleration. It seems that this cosmic collision theory provides verifiable scientific proof that our universe’s galaxies are actually all decelerating back to the origin, in which the least distant matter is decelerating at the greatest rate while the most distant galaxies are decelerating at the lowest rate.

This is simple physics in play here. The less distant the matter from the origin, the proportionally greater the mutual attraction is between them, and the faster the matter is decelerating. The reverse is true for the most distant matter. It will be decelerating at the least velocity. Everything in between will be decelerating at a rate proportional to its location relative to its distance from the origin.

Thus, our universe’s physical matter, when observed by an astronomer in our galaxy somewhere in the middle of our universe, will clearly appear to be accelerating outward relative to the astronomer’s location when, in fact, it is more likely decelerating at an increasing rate relative to the origin. This, of course, was the dilemma faced by Hubble when he searched distant galaxies. He had no way of knowing the movement pattern of his own galaxy. Every measurement was relative to his position in the Milky Way.

My apologies for these findings; but
