About this ebook
About My Christmas Prince
Amy Farwinkle has an unusual last name, an awkward relationship with her current employer, and a unique disdain for the hijinks of 21st century royalty.
Prince Antonio, crown prince of Iberia—a tiny monarchy nestled between Spain and Portugal—is a spoiled lapdog of a man whose connection to commoners is tenuous at best, and stretched thin by the royal scandal he's hiding from.
Gordon Ramsey—no relation to the chef—is chief of Antonio's security team and the only thing he likes about his current assignment—a glorified babysitting job—is that he gets to spend time with the Prince's dogs.
My Christmas Prince is a sweet, not-quite instalove story about expectations, dreams, misunderstandings, and Christmas.
You don't have to be royal to be a prince.

CHAPTER ONE: Snow Day
I was in a bad mood. No, make that a really bad mood.
The morning’s city council meeting was responsible. As usual, it had been scheduled for 8 a.m. because everyone but the Mayor was a volunteer and had a real job to get to. As usual, most members showed up because City Hall provided a spread of bagels and pastries, and an urn of remarkably good coffee. But as usual, Linwood Dawkins had also shown up and that had meant a solid hour of debate over the books he wanted removed from the local city library, a long list that began with Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and ended with Studs Terkel’s monumental oral history, Working.
