Jack March pulled his hood up as he walked through the rain, the water splashing around his boots.
It was one in the morning, local time, on Constantinople II. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled overhead. Most of Constantinople II’s surface area was ocean, though countless small islands dotted the planet. That meant the planet’s one small continent had two seasons – the dry season and the rainy season.
He had bought a good raincoat before arriving at Constantinople II during the rainy season, which had turned out to be a wise choice.
