Peppermint Twist Kisses - Sarita Leone
When she turned her head, her hair brushed his shoulder. First Class afforded extra passenger room, but she leaned his way while he tilted hers. The way he saw it, this was the optimal situation for getting to know a beautiful woman better.
Okay, I can go for that. Sending good vibes out beats worrying about being jammed in here during a snowstorm with all the holiday travelers. You know they’ll be super annoyed if the planes stop flying.
A stream of boarding passengers stood in a line down the center of the plane, no longer moving but jostling each other and those who sat in aisle seats. A large man bumped the back of the seat ahead of him with a bulging gray backpack while the traveler standing at his shoulder hit him with her handbag, so he angled his body closer to the woman beside him.
Luke agreed. There would be more discontent inside the airport terminal than he wanted to deal with if people were stranded over the holiday.
Yeah, there might even be a unicorn uprising.
Amia tilted her head back and laughed, and the sound came so fresh and pure it swept every other bit of plane boarding noise away. An elderly man in the aisle met his eyes and winked, approval of his choice of companion.
Oh, you saw that, did you?
She tapped his shoulder with hers and sent a tingle dancing along his spine.
He grinned. Hard to miss a service unicorn.

Christmas in Wylder - Again, author Leone treats the reader to a story filled with non-stop action as well as a deep and touching romance as it develops between two people who, while brutalized in the past, come to find in each other a balm for more than just a broken heart. Well done!

Chapter 1
Queens, New York
Amia Grinche handed the driver a fifty-dollar bill and stepped from the taxi onto the sidewalk, holding the bakery box filled with peppermint twist kiss cookies close to her chest. She turned, leaned in, and reached for her carryon bag. A touch of her thumb sent the luggage handle sliding upward so she rolled it toward the back of the vehicle and waited for the driver to open the trunk.
Instead, the man pulled out into traffic. He’d taken the big, fat Christmas Eve tip she’d just handed over and dashed.
