About this ebook

As masterful as it is crude, passionate and profound, Dreaming Margaritas is a hymn and a song of protest. This brilliant collection takes us inside the emotions of the author as expressed through the land and the rivers of the Po valley, the dreamlike landscapes, the lies of lovers and charlatans. It is a poem that celebrates the contours of daily life while exploring and delighting in the space between thought and experience, reminding the reader that it is we who decide what is good and what is unacceptable.

Roberto Porcelli Trenti was born in Bologna in 1959. Among his works are the collections of poems entitled La Lunga Estate, Sul Margine dei Nuovi Segreti (Edizioni Tracce/1986-1989) and Toxic Emilia (Aracne/2017). His novel Cinema Olimpico, published in 2012, is set in the Parma of the 60’s and the 70’s and in the Dublin of our times.
