About this ebook
Enjoy this tongue-in-cheek look at what went on with the world's first couple once Eden was no longer an option.
Dad kicked them out of Eden, so Adam and Eve got a place in the suburbs. Here Adam is swamped naming everything in Creation while Eve fixes his blunders and pines for a vacation. Meanwhile, their two grown, live-in sons have a case of sibling rivalry that would make a therapist's career. When Dad drops a line saying he's coming for a visit, it opens up a world of possibility for Adam and Eve, and a can of worms for their boys.

About the Author
To my imperfect, fun, funny, loving family.
A rooster crowed from down the block, interrupting Eve’s count of dimples on the bedroom ceiling. She’d reached two hundred and sixty-three.
Sighing, she tossed aside the covers and slipped her cold toes into the familiar, well-worn comfort of her fuzzy pink slippers. Golden dawn swept in uninvited as she yanked open the coarse flax window curtains.
She narrowed her eyes at the low, wooded silhouette on the eastern horizon and snorted. The Tree of Knowledge, all great and forbidden, still rose above the center of that distant garden. Even from here she could see the flaming sword of the sentinel angel at its gate and lion-bodied cherubim wheeling above, taunting her in their eternal, you-can’t-come-home-again vigil.
Paradise sat a day away and was off limits forever.
She stuck out her tongue in defiance. Dad would see her of course. Dad saw everything.
The view closer to home captured row upon row of tidy houses. Each with tidy shingled roofs and tidy white siding. Each with two bedrooms, a shade tree in front, and plaid patio chairs out back. Hers was a neighborhood of trim lawns and weekend yard sales—the ideal post-Exiled-from-Eden subdivision.
And Eve couldn’t be more bored of it.
