Um... yea... I don't know exactly what to say about this book. I picked it up because I thought what the heck it's about cats might as well read it. It is completely silly and crazy. I'm sorry but I don't feel all tingly when I'm around my cats. I'm lucky if my cats stay in my room for more than 2 minutes and you think they are going to dance with me and mimic my dancing? Um... no. I'm at a loss for words with this book.

From the moment I first picked this book up to the moment I slowly put it down some time later I was ... I don't think "captivated" is the word I want but maybe it will have to do for the time being. So, we get pages of people dancing with their cats photos with accompanying text of new age dross. I am rather embarrassed to admit that it took me a long time to determine that it was satire.

Another deft satire of self-involved artiness, with clever pictures. Consider this warning about the power of dancing with your cat: "...sometimes the energy is so powerful I worry about overstimulating my aura. At those levels, an unstable etheric oscillation could collapse into an astral vortex and suck my spiritual reserves into a state of negative sub-matter." Yeah, I hate when that happens.

Beautiful photographs of dancing cats and their dancing human partners.

HIS book almost didn’t happen. Frustrated after months of attempting to photograph people dancing with their cats, we were ready to give up after yet another photo shoot was stymied by the refusal of the cat to perform in front of a camera. Although we had
