In "The Heist", a young police officer by the name of Robert is assigned his first sting operation to catch some art thieves in the act. While waiting for them to arrive, Robert must deal with an old foe, boredom.

In "A Second Life", Mitchel, watches his own funeral from the sidelines and must come to terms with his new living arrangements, despite the sight of his wife weeping at an empty casket.

Finally, in "The Trip", Lawrence is on holiday with his soon-to-be father-in-law in Mozambique. All should be fine and dandy, save the reason for the tri, and the source of his dread. Lawrence wants nothing more than the approval of his fiance’s father, but he fears his reaction when he tells the older man he does not wish to hunt...

Michael Piper

Michael grew up in a relatively small town where there wasn’t much to do to keep himself entertained. So, to stimulate himself, he played a lot of videogames and read a good share of books. He always loved a good story, whether written or on the screen. He took this love to its logical end and began writing his own stories, mainly storylines for Dungeons and Dragons games he would run for friends. After graduating high school, he drifted from one college major to another until he remembered just how much he enjoyed telling stories. So, he dropped his then current major of environmental studies and enrolled as a creative writing student at Full Sail University and never looked back.
