    Fairies Catcher - Katrych Yevhen

    Fairies Catcher

Oh, the Great Moonstone, I am so tired, the little fairy of water Dasha said, sitting down on the edge of her bed. My wings hurt so badly that I cannot sleep on my back.

This is my first spring carnival, Karina answered, flying into the room. She was still dancing with the closed eyes, fluttering around the room and singing her favorite tune. Her orange dress gleamed a little, and tiny flames were dancing on the tips of foxy hair. Having stopped, she looked at Dasha and asked, Ah, why didn’t we ever celebrate the spring coming?

Uh... You’ll get to know when you grow up, Dasha said, slowly taking off her blue dress. Carefully hanging it in the wardrobe, she quickly slipped under the blanket.

So, children, hurry up to go in your beds, Mom flew into the room. She kissed her daughters, and wished them a good night.

Mom? Karina called out to her when she was already at the exit of the room. Little fairy sat up in her bed, and said, You promised to talk to Dad about Bran.

Today I will certainly talk to him, and now go to sleep, Mom said with a smile, and put out a little firefly in the center of the room.

Bright moonlight spread into the room through a tiny window and fell on Karina’s face, scattering the darkness of the night. Karina looked at already sniffing Dasha and smiled. Karina felt that a confident drowsiness was enveloping her, taking the remnants of the forces away.

Half asleep, she heard a very distant ring of bells. In a few seconds, frightened mother flew into the room. Leaving the lights turned off, she rushed about the room. Having quickly grabbed the first available daughters’ dresses, Mom excitedly flew to Dasha and strongly shook her shoulder.

Dasha! Dasha, get up quickly! She continued to bother her daughter. Having noticed that Dasha opened her eyes, Mom said quickly, Take Karina and leave to the old grove to Aunt Lean.

Mom, what happened? Karina asked, and there were tears in her eyes.

It's okay, honey, it's okay... Mom said quickly, helping Karina to get dressed. Hurry up, girls, hurry up...

A loud, sinister laughter rang out right under their big wide-branching tree. Because of this emergency, Karina wanted to scream, but Mom's hand quickly covered her mouth. Dissatisfied growl and a few notable shocks made a strong tree shudder. Leaves fell down from the upper branches, and again there was a caustic, nasty laugh.

Pale Dasha quickly flew to Karina, grabbed her arm, and pulled her toward the exit. Little confused fairy, being very scared, even forgot that she had wings and just ran on a tree after her sister. They stopped at the end of the spreading branch, and heard a desperate cry of their Mom.

The Sacred Grove is closed for you... Mom cried and stretched out her arms, which immediately broke down two fireballs. Crackling and hissing, the fireballs rushed down, and exploded there with fireworks of sparks, generously showering the ground.

In just a few seconds, bright flame of balls lit the terrible human figure in a black gown with a deep
