About this ebook
Ancient Rome. Flavia begs her father for a new slave. She tells him she just needs a change, but secretly she has other ideas. After seeing the gladiators for a birthday treat, Flavia realises that she needs a real man to service her needs sexually – and not the boys who have fumbled with her before. So, when the slave master presents her with not one but three powerful-looking, dangerous brutes, she's excited but confused. Who will she pick? And, as she can try before she buys, is she willing to take on all three of them at once?

FLAVIA’S CHOICE

THE PROPOSAL
But you promised me, Father,
Flavia said in frustration as they emerged from the shadow of the alleyway. "When I reached my eighteenth birthday, I would be able to choose my own slave."
The sun was high and hot in the ancient square, and it was a throng with Romans going about their business, from togaed politicians and aristocrats, to marching soldiers in their leather armor, and lowly peasants and slaves. Flavia was dressed in the same expensive robes she had been given just two weeks ago when she came of age, having chosen them herself to accentuate her ripening curves and compliment her creamy skin. Her flaxen hair shone like gold under the sun, and her ample breasts often drew admiring looks from both men and women.
Yes, but what’s wrong with Abbula exactly?
Flavia’s father complained, pausing at a fruit stall to examine the ripened peaches. She does her tasks well enough, does she not?
Thinning her lips, Flavia looked her father up and down as he pressed a peach to his nose. Nearing his sixtieth year, with grey feathers of hair surrounding his balding pate, a nose that Caesar himself would have admired, he had had Flavia late in life after he remarried. His advancing years made him somewhat stuck in his ways, and that was a constant source of irritation to his young daughter.
"Everything is wrong with her, Flavia protested.
She’s sour, and old, and smells funny. Most of the time she complains about her bad back, and can hardly lift anything heavier than light laundry. Besides, I want someone closer to my own age."
Flavia’s father sighed. He put the peach back on the stall, and turned his bright blue eyes back on his daughter. "Well, I suppose I did promise. And maybe it might be worth having someone a bit more robust and capable around the villa. A smile finally blossomed on his lined face. Flavia knew Father couldn’t refuse her for long.
Oh, very well. But go to Othman’s if you please. He has the best slaves in town. I don’t want anyone that we’ll have to return in a few weeks. And searching in his toga, he pulled out a jingling silk pouch.
Now, there’s more than enough here get yourself someone really nice. Choose wisely."
Flavia beamed, snatched the purse out of her father’s hand, and threw her arms about the old man, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Oh, thank you, Father!
she cried. "I knew
