SYNOPSIS
VULNERABLE EXCELLENCE
is an original manuscript written by Emiliano Martín. It is based on the public life of Salvador Dalí, one of the greatest artists in the XX century. An interesting narration in simple terms, and informative chronological order of events, with most of the important issues that took place around the legend he created, the art he left behind, his fame and success. It is all about his deep steps in society, his dreams, his joys, and the torment of his life. Also appearing some fictional conversations shared with most influential people around him. Yes, Salvador Dalí was a memorable character after all.
Dalí, without question was of one of the greatest surrealist artists of the XX century. The protagonist (Dalí) and the characters appearing through briefs episodes, sustain fictional conversations based on the author’s imagination. Without getting into details the reader will enjoy knowing about moments that Dali shared with his college friends, the relationship with Gala, his wife, also his travels, people he knew and the names of artistic creations that now are still revered as icons of modern art from a man who lived his life through the character he created for himself, as an artist and a showman. Some lyrical poems were added to this production in order to bring the reader closer to the artist’s provocative behavior.
The narration is easy to understand and the dialog (being fiction) brings to life all the characters by moving the reader to visualize the action taking place. One could imagine all of the scenes applicable for a play or even a movie.
With appeal to all backgrounds, young readers and people who are curious about Salvador Dali will find all the information to be very much informative, enjoyable and worth it.

INTRODUCTION:
Many things have been said and written about the one and only Salvador Dalí. Some were true and others were just fiction. Biographers all over the planet did the best they could by exposing the positive and the negative of the artist. A man of an eccentric attitude, but an exceptional mind.
Through the narration of VULNERABLE EXCELLENCE-Salvador Dalí, we will find an honest attempt to establish in chronological order, most public knowledge events in the life and art of one of the greatest surrealist in the XX century.
The narration is based on a series of stories made public from the media. Over the years, articles have appeared in newspapers, magazines, radio and TV interviews, even word to mouth information or rumors if not gossip that somehow became available through social conversations all over the world. Therefore this narration is no more than an interpretation of all of the above.
The dialogs are fiction and the poems are just thoughts with a personal touch from its author, who believes that any resemblance with reality is pure coincidence.
