    The Creation of

    the Multiverse

There was nothingness in the nether at the beginning of time, and then suddenly a brilliant purple ball of energy exploded forth from a cosmic portal, possessing power and speed. This purple ball hurtled through the nether, looking like a comet, but sounding like a horse’s hooves upon cobblestone! In fact, this ball was none other than the First One, Vitacornil. He was a celestial centaur, and he was magnificent. He had a beautiful visage, green-hued skin, a white coat of luscious hair, and a perfect physique. The First One housed all the unifying energies needed to create matter within himself.

Before Vitacornil was nothing: no planets or stars or other celestial bodies. Only blackness extended as far as Vitacornil could see. With a resolute determination upon his countenance, he shuddered in anticipation within the nether, as he gave of his tremendous essence unto the space before him. The effusive energy enveloped the nothingness and was punctuated by repeated flashes of cosmic solar flares. This discharge from Vitacornil then transformed into something incredible: the first universe.

As the new universe began to take shape, things such as stars and planets began to coalesce from the condensed energy that had been emitted from Vitacornil. This universe would be called Chaos Prime. It contained all the necessary elements needed for the solar system to form and most importantly bring forth life. Vitacornil gazed upon its central planet with awe and with a mere thought, he molded Oerth’s inhabitants into creatures born from his imagination.

The Celestial Centaur was so intent on the act of continued creation that he subsequently galloped off, hurtling through space as he traveled further into the vastness to start again, leaving Chaos Prime to develop on its own.

    Consolidation of Power

Within the universe of Chaos Prime, life emerged from the outpouring of energy that had erupted from Vitacornil upon the central planet of Oerth. Creatures and beings evolved within primordial ooze over millions of years, eventually creating a master race called the Novamen. The chieftain of the humanoid race was Urus. He quickly gained control of all life within Chaos Prime after his ascension to Warlord. Urus, with the help from his artificer, crafted three mighty devices to further dominate his subjects: the Conduit of Consolidation, the Ring of Absolute Authority, and the Mystical Implant of Power. Urus’s might and power were both increased with these dangerous instruments of destruction. Urus’s Conduit was a sentient construct that allowed him to traverse from universe to universe. Urus then collapsed the universe of Chaos Prime into a microscopic manifestation of matter, and then turned its central planet into a hellish prison called the Void. Having transformed Chaos Prime, Urus penetrated into the adjoining universe known as Sacred Secundum.

Lady Serabus was that universe’s supreme ruler, and her planet Aerth was its capital. It was a sophisticated society of highly trained warriors and skilled artisans. Urus promptly took Sacred Secundum, murdering and incarcerating many of its inhabitants. He enslaved Lady Serabus shortly thereafter, and his journey of conquest into the Multiverse continued.

Trivustum was the third universe within the Multiverse. Ierth was its capital planet. Trivustum was quite important since it housed three mighty beings named Elkris, Alltus, and Akkus. Urus sensed the evil and wickedness in Elkris, who was a master shapeshifter, and enlisted him as an ally. With Urus’s assistance, the Lawful forces were soundly defeated.

Upon the defeat of the Lawful host, the Elder was christened as the Left Hand of Urus. He would act as an adviser and fellow Lord of Chaos. Urus subsequently sent the soul of Alltus into the Void, along with his Lawful host, to be tortured until they were eventually subsumed. The Conduit assisted in the corruption of Akkus, focusing the Overseer’s immense corruptive power into the Archangel Absolute. Akkus was thus transformed into a dark gothic creature known as the Administrator.

The Unholy Trinity was formed after Trivustum’s annihilation and went on to consume universe after universe, until they came upon Vitacornil in an attempt to prevent him from expanding the Multiverse further. The Allfather was brought to a halt within the expanse of space by Urus, who offered his love and fealty. However, this was a ploy, and the Celestial Centaur was betrayed, stabbed and imprisoned within the Ring of Absolute Authority for the nonce. Urus then proclaimed himself as the Overseer and the Master of the Multiverse!

    Rise of the

    Forbidden Realm

The Overseer felt accomplished, as he truly was now the Master of the Multiverse. He returned to Aerth and ordered Lady Serabus to lie with him. From this union, Orus and Erestus were conceived. The Twins learned many life lessons from both their parents and others in Sacred Secundum and Quattorum, the last remaining universes. Orus and Erestus grew up fast and strong, becoming wise with the knowledge of how awful their father truly was. The Overseer was exultant about his transmogrification of Planet Urth and the building of its capital Nawro. As a result, Urus ordered Lady Serabus to lie with him again. From this union, a daughter was brought forth. She was the result of three gene pools however, those of the Overseer, Lady Serabus … and Draconis Superior, who was an ancient ice dragon. After Pryanna was born, she was kidnapped from Lady Serabus by the Overseer and raised to be evil and sadistic. She became a full-fledged being of Chaos.

The Overseer continued to transform Urth into his personal domain. As everything proceeded according to his plan, he instructed Lady Serabus to send aerthling legions through the temporal gates that had been constructed on both planets. The Divine Lady came up with a compromise however: She would establish a new servitor race. She journeyed to the Holy Cavern of Serenity and created Durumblade and Kristeena from the earth. These were the first two doren. They combined as one to procreate more doren, who generated more doren, and so on.

However, a contingent of aerthlings had to be deployed on Urth to serve as advisors to the doren since they were experts in many areas. The doren’s numbers exploded. Thousands were born within a year, and millions existed by the end of the century, thus they became known as successive generations of doren named urthlings. The aerthlings also produced offspring, albeit at a much slower rate; their offspring became known as the dark aerthlings. There were also hundreds of dragons upon Urth, including Malek and Victus, among others. These dragons worked in the role of logistics managers.

Initially, the supply corps workers were treated fairly well, but the Overseer through sorcery created an enforcement race to keep them in line. They were dubbed the opal manti. The Administrator worked with the Overseer to boost the number of manti until there were millions! The monsters were employed to terrorize and murder selected workers, ensuring that the population lived in constant fear.

Pryanna became a formidable ice dragon. Enemies of the state were brought to her for torture and execution. She completed her tasks while also mating with many individuals in her blond haired humanoid form to produce hybrids. The hybrids emerged rapidly among the population. Pryanna eventually rebelled against her father and further defied him by becoming queen and consort to Leviathan, a dragon from the equatorial volcanic region.

Pryanna swiftly built up her forces by attracting and breeding with other dragons and urthlings. She subsequently dominated all of these with her seductive power and sheer force of will. Many more hybrids were produced, and they multiplied at a rapid pace. Soon enough, there were millions upon millions of them.

Halfway between the border of Nawro and the Forbidden Realm, the two forces collided. The Horde of the Overseer showed exceptional combat skill, as did the Army of the Dragon Queen. There was lots of bloodshed and hand-to-hand combat, but there were simply too many of Pryanna’s forces; therefore, the Administrator commanded Draconis Rex and Erestus to taunt and attack Pryanna and make her incensed with anger. Having succeeded, Pryanna subsequently transformed into her full size, crushing friend and foe alike. She launched off her haunches and flew after them.

Pryanna was able to avoid both attacks, she pressed on and pursued the battle mates, who raced toward Nawro as fast as they could. Pryanna wasn’t as quick as Draconis Rex, but her stamina was almost immeasurable. The Dragon Queen continued her relentless pursuit after swiftly defeating Aboss and Aboroth, the dragon brothers who had been attempting to intercept her. Erestus and Rex barely made it to the citadel in time, where the Overseer was waiting. Pryanna noticed him and changed direction immediately, as he was her primary target of hatred and vengeance. She unleashed her most powerful ice exhalation on him, but he escaped the ice prison that she encased him in and utilized his Conduit of Consolidation and then confined her in his Ring of Absolute Authority with Vitacornil.

The Overseer commanded that a confinement chamber be built right away. It would be called the Vault. The Overseer then purged Pryanna from his ring and locked her within the magical prison. She would now be incarcerated for all of eternity in the Vault.

    The Great Upheaval

After many tumultuous years, Orus and Erestus decided enough was enough and created a clandestine society known as the Pious Brothers in direct opposition to their evil father. Orus laid out His enlightening ideas and Erestus and the brotherhood served Him capably. Soon after, the twins were blessed with a little brother named Petrus, who was to be raised upon Aerth by his mother Lady Serabus.

One day, Orus traveled to Sacred Secundum in secret to visit His mother. He had come via His personal temporal gate, which he possessed thanks to the Conduit of Consolidation given to Him by his father upon His ascension to manhood. Urus no longer needed the Conduit, having achieved supreme power, and presented the evil gift unto his first-born Son. Instead of being corrupted, Orus mastered the Chaotic device and made it submit to his will after a fortnight of temptation. When Orus saw His beloved mother, they engaged in a heartfelt embrace, overflowing with harmony and creation. A wonderful child was birthed from their union. His name would be Christopher. Petrus subsequently heard the crying of the infant, and he became perplexed by the circumstances of Christopher’s birth. Lady Serabus informed Petrus that his father, Urus, was a truly evil being who would continue to wreak havoc if he was not supplanted. She continued by stating that Orus was destined to bring balance to the Multiverse and that this special child had a crucial part to play. After careful consideration, Petrus renounced his evil father and swore loyalty to Orus that day.

When Orus returned to Urth, He and Erestus observed in horror as the opal manti viciously tortured and murdered doren and urthling workers within the seven supply corps. They watched as these terrible creatures carried out their sinister deeds and established a Lawful martial arts discipline to combat the Chaotic forces. It was called Mantis Style. The Twins then trained Petrus, who in turn taught the Pious Brothers and others.

Inside the Holy Citadel’s bowels, the Pious Brothers met in a secret chamber. They renewed their commitment to each other, particularly Orus, who they now dubbed as Omnia. Orus informed them of His plan to depose the tyrannical Overseer. Erestus was instructed by Orus to utilize his position as Ward to find out state secrets concerning the dragons and Draconis Superior. The dragons readily joined forces with Orus as word of the revolution reached their ears. Malek, Victus, and other Lawful dragons volunteered to join His ranks; Chaotic dragons too with Aboss, Aboroth, and especially Leviathan. The Overseer’s regime had worn them down, and they were yearning for a new order. Draconis Superior had also considered going against the Overseer; Erestus exposed this plan to his father to light the powder keg. As the Overseer began to mobilize his forces, Petrus and the Pious Brothers gathered up the Lawful urthlings and dark aerthlings throughout the planet that were ready to fight their oppressors. War was on the horizon.

The Overseer’s objective was to maintain order and control, but his sons along with the Pious Brothers rose up against him. On the field of battle, they mobilized swiftly, but the Overseer had a trump card up his sleeve: Vitacornil! Although the Allfather was trapped within the Ring of Absolute Authority, he continued to release his life-giving energy, eventually producing twin albino centaurs known as the Twin Terrors. The Overseer had made a bargain with the Allfather: if the Celestial Centaur and his copies battled, they would be released into space, albeit as powerless spirits. Vitacornil reluctantly accepted the terms of the deal.

The stage was set for a colossal conflict! Thousands of fatalities were incurred in a furious clash between the two sides. Urus subsequently confronted his rebellious sons, staring them down. Vitacornil and the Twin Terrors were then released from the ring by the Overseer, they were enormous and thundered onto the battlefield. In the distance, both sides watched in astonishment as a three-on-three matchup played out. Erestus and Petrus went at it with the Twin Terrors, while Orus fought Vitacornil. The Overseer’s forces were still greater in number, and with Vitacornil and his clones added to the equation, Orus and His forces were forced to capitulate.

As promised, The Overseer let Vitacornil and the Twin Terrors loose into the cosmos once the fight was over. He rebuked his children, then called for the Inflictors, who emerged from a black hole like monsters. Orus and the five elder dragons were led to the Void where they would suffer in extreme anguish. For Erestus’s disobedience, he was condemned by his father and his liege lord, Draconis Superior. Erestus was ordered to enter into the Vault as atonement for his transgressions. Petrus was scarred on his groin, and exiled back to Aerth, to serve at his mother’s side. There, he would live in shame and be under the scrutiny of the Elder, who watched over Petrus and Lady Serabus in secret. Lastly, other followers of Orus were executed for their act of treason, completely ending the uprising.

Following the sentencing of his sons, the Overseer ordered the Administrator to erect a monument in honor of his victory. As a result, the Obelisk of Prominence was commissioned for construction. It would serve as a potent symbol of the Overseer’s rule.

The Crucible of the Twins of Destiny

Within the Void, Orus and the dragons were tortured by the Inflictors once they had them in their clutches. The jailers mangled, deformed, and disfigured Orus into a repulsive monstrosity. As he drifted aimlessly through icy eternity, Orus was sad and isolated; His conduit had been drained of power by the Overseer through his Ring of Absolute Authority upon His imprisonment and was now useless.

During this time, Erestus began his atonement within the Vault. He had entered into the Portal of Misery, and he found himself in a swamp riddled with undead creatures. The cold air froze his lungs, and soon zombies surrounded him. After defeating them, Erestus was approached by a friendly kitten named Andreas. Together, the two companions traveled through the Vault and saw many strange sights. Dead creatures rose from shallow graves and once again attacked Erestus and Andreas. Feeling outnumbered, Erestus prayed for strength from his twin brother, and miraculously, Andreas grew into a magnificent war lion! They destroyed the walking dead together, but Andreas was fatally wounded.

Erestus was saddened by the loss of his feline friend, but then he heard a strange woman’s voice that beckoned him. Erestus sought out the voice and found a beautiful woman lying in a musty cave. Erestus proceeded to know her, for it had seemed like years since he had seen or touched a woman. As if on cue, her long hair turned from black to blonde as they were snuggled tight together in their blissful embrace; her face becoming disturbingly familiar to Erestus. It was his evil sister Pryanna in disguise! She then consumed him as she changed into her dragon form. Erestus was burned as he passed through her stomach, but he did not perish. This was done over and over again to further his suffering.

In the Void, Orus was alone with his agony and thoughts, but to His surprise, He was visited by the spirit of Alltus. The former God of Good, Law, and Order informed Orus of everything that had happened since his birth up until imprisonment. Alltus revealed that he had been waiting for someone like Orus; he then merged with the Son of the Overseer, and a new deity was created! Orus was now truly Omnia, and the new God of Law and Order was now bolstered beyond belief by the purity of Alltus and his Lawful host! This reawakened the Conduit of Consolidation, furthering Omnia’s power. Omnia subsequently freed the Elder Dragons and purified the Inflictors, making them His Debilitators, for He had seized control of the Void. These new guardians now appeared to be stern angels clad in beautiful white clothing.

Back in the Vault, after what seemed like years of torment, Erestus was rescued by a little cat named Barnabus, little brother of Andreas. They bonded and had a beautiful friendship until Barnabus died from old age. As Erestus wept over the loss of his companion, he found himself once again in the freezing Swamp with undead ghouls all around him. Pryanna reappeared on the shore, white as alabaster and with red eyes that promised to maim and torture. Erestus prepared to battle but felt peace in his heart; his love for Orus was greater than the peril he now faced. Erestus prayed once again, and two tremendous roars rang in the distance, perplexing Pryanna. The massive cats cut through the swamp, their heavy footsteps shaking the ground. It was Andreas and Barnabus, back again! The dragon’s tremendous strength was overcome by the power of the war lions. Pryanna reverted to her blonde-haired humanoid form as the enormous cats shredded her limb from limb. Erestus approached Pryanna, who was lying on the ground wounded. He wrapped his hands around her throat, and slowly suffocated Pryanna whilst passing judgment upon her.

Suddenly, from Pryanna’s eyes and ears, light
