Again Rosalind arrives in a strange world. This time it is Paris, but not our Paris. Pulled like taffy through the window of a patisserie, she meets the talking cat Niko. Our wandering girl is tired of being pushed around by unknown Gods. Rosalind asks Niko to help her getting answers concerning her hopeless situation. Niko brings the white haired girl upstairs - into the Carnival in the Clouds. There is a sideshow called the 'Globus Tourney'. Its ringmaster, Count Pomponazzi, instructs Rosalind to throw her Red Ball into the Onion Rings of Alchemy: In a effort, to escape her destiny as a endless wanderer amongst many worlds.
