About this ebook

Ryan Avery is on the lookout for clones. Ever since he was a young man, he's been fascinated by the science behind biotech research and how cloning has developed from Dolly the sheep to the latest clones adults who live among us. But even though he buries himself in research, Ryan cannot seem to find a single clone out in the world.

This changes when he stumbles upon men in a cruising park. Since the only feature that differentiates clones from humans is the appearance of a navel, Ryan believes he will find the answer to what he's seeking by following men into the park and seeking out what he's always wanted.

Of course, like with all scientific discoveries, Ryan is about to find out more than he ever thought possible.

    Searching for Clones

    By Eve Morton

    Where were all the clones?

Ryan Avery wasn’t a doctor or a scientist, just a delivery driver. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t be as up-to-date on cloning as anyone else in the biotech field. In fact, he would even argue that he was more informed than anyone in the sciences, especially those who wore away their days in the so-called ivory tower. He was a delivery driver, after all. That meant he had access to the people—all the people—and their daily lives. What they ordered from Amazon or online stores. How many people kept in touch with family members and wrote hand-written letters to them. Ryan knew their bills, income, and lack thereof. People may have been going online more and more for human contact—or clone contact, though that was another discussion—but that didn’t mean the population still didn’t exist on paper. Clone or human alike.

And Ryan just wanted to know: where were all the clones?

Ever since Ryan had heard the announcement on the radio, when he was still training as a delivery driver, about Dolly the sheep, he’d been hooked. Not just because he’d been a good ol’ Midwestern
