About this ebook
The Cleveland Spiders were a competitive major league baseball team for seven of their all too short existence for thirteen seasons from 1887 to 1899. They won the 1895 Temple Cup championship, and produced six Hall of Famers in that short period. No, not any of those added-later-also-ran-politically-corrects. Try Cy Young, Jesse Burkett, John Clarkson, Buck Ewing, George Davis, and Bobby Wallace.
