Just an ordinary person writing about extraordinary things. I love storytelling, and am now able to write and create new wholesome fiction and introduce new heroes, villains in settings that are familiar to us, and new settings that are beyond this world! I am a faithful Christian and everything that I create is intended to bring glory to God, and that my stories will be able to enrich and add value to the lives of many. I have been given much, so now it is my turn to give back. Happy reading!J.M.

Chapter 1
The Orphanage
Edinburgh, Great Britain, 1774
Bethany Elise Rosepearl was showered with icy needles as soon as she exited her stagecoach, nearly slipping on the narrow steps whilst gracefully managing to soak her newly tailored steel boots in a cradle of mud. She dashed towards the front door of her orphanage, fidgeting to get her umbrella open with one hand whilst clutching onto an old katana sword with the other. Bethany waved her hand at the stagecoach. Two well-tailored men emerged. These nice gentlemen are James, that's the dashing Irish one from Dublin, and the other handsome one is Carlos, who hails from Barcelona. Gentlemen, this is Mrs. Ruth Quintin.
A pleasure, Ma'am,
both men said, tipping their hats.
The men followed Bethany inside carrying four large leather suitcases, provisions, and crates of fruits, vegetables,
