cknowledgements
In the course of writing this book, I have drawn from the knowledge of other forward thinkers such as Stan Romanek, JP Althouse and John Titor, websites such as Rense.com, Imgur.com, and organizations such as the US Patent Office etc. They have not collaborated with me, nor do they endorse my work. I cite the brief and limited parts of their work or publications that I use in the interest of research and, yes, for teaching. This book, after all, is also my effort to teach the reading public the things we can do to prepare for inevitable changes to the world as we know it. Global Conversations with My Readers
Elvis: Good day, ladies and gentlemen from around the world! Welcome to the Fireside Chat! I am Elvis Newman, author of America Is Still the World’s Number One—Disruptive Technologies of the Superpower Extraordinaire. I am honored and grateful to be here!
(Readers cheer and applaud)
Elvis: This is exciting. Can you feel it? We each do our part and become, as a whole, a great force for change. The change for a Best Tomorrow
movement. We always say a Better Tomorrow.
But that is not enough anymore. We want a Best Tomorrow.
(Readers cheer and applaud.)
Elvis: These global conversations are for the following categories of people:
1. All my global readers!
2. People who do not want a better tomorrow; people who only want the best, best, best tomorrow.
3. Humans who are already living day to day in the world of computer simulations such as virtual reality.
4. People who find that their living standards decrease so much that they now do all their shopping in 99-cent stores.
5. The last remaining tribes of the Amazon Forest. They just have to get this message.
6. Kids who already aspire to become flying-car engineers.
7. Policy makers in DC, including President Trump!
(Readers cheer and applaud.)
Elvis: Urge more people to take it up; urge more people to join in the intellectual discussion. It will blow your minds. It will make you think more deeply about your present and future. Together we will create a more promising future for our global population and the planet. Eighty percent of success is showing up, and I thank you for your participation. You can pat yourself on the back! Well done, lovely job!
(Readers pat themselves on the back.)
Elvis: I know you want to do your part in making the world better. You want to share ideas and take actions that will make our lives more convenient and efficient. You want to join forces in ultimately transforming our planet for the better and improve the well-being of billions. There are an infinite number of human thoughts in the world, and an infinite number of realities yet to be realized and improved upon. There is a person, a human mind, behind each of these dreams, discoveries, innovations, inventions, scientific progresses, and human achievements. You can pat yourself on the back! Well done, lovely job!
(Readers pat themselves on the back.)
Elvis: Will you be the agents of change?
Readers unanimously: Yes, we will!
Elvis: Let’s start by examining the greatest triumphs in human history. There are actually three very important reality crossovers that we have managed to do that have solved the world’s most complex and systemic problems with true and lasting impact. We have all metamorphosed into what we are today because of them. They all addressed the past challenges and predicaments we faced as a global population ending with significant benefits for billions of people. Do you want to know what they were?
Readers: Please tell us.
Elvis: They are
• the invention of the airplane;
• the invention of the atomic bomb;
• And the deciphering of the human genome.
These are the three most climactic experiences in human history, whereby the great invisible boundary was crossed between the Old World and the brave New World.
Readers: Why are they important?
Elvis: You see, the brand-new day that was dawning brought about by these events was unlike any that the human race had ever known in the many thousands of years of its existence. The sun looked the same. The blue horizon looked the same. Everyone you know or didn’t know looked the same. The building you were familiar with looked the same. Your environment looked the same. However, the great invisible boundary between the Old World and the brave New World was being crossed. And there would be no turning back. We were on our own and had to be strong to choose to live in this brave new world. The ripples of the three realities that we had crossed over still resonate with us till this day, this moment.
Readers: Why do you single out these three changes? Was there a boundary that actually existed between the Old World where the humans had remained for thousands and thousands of years in its existence and the brave new world that we
