    DEDICATION

To my mother Tomaida and late father Gilizani who moved on to Livingstone town in Zambia where I was introduced to this natural wonder; the Victoria Falls. Most of all, to the Almighty God who made it possible for me to have life in abundance through Jesus Christ.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I want to acknowledge the support I received from my family and friends without which this work was not going to be complete. My wife Prisca for her patience, Mayase and Tomiada for helping to proof read the manuscript and helping with taking images, and Zewelanji for the encouragement.

    INTRODUCTION

The Victoria Falls also called ‘The Smoke that Thunders!’ is about the largest curtain of water dropping 9 600 cubic meters of water per second down a series of basalt gorges. It is about 1708meters ( 5603 ft) wide and 100metres (328ft) deep down the gorges at the highest peak of the year.

Rising up is an iridescent spray that can be viewed about 30 km away
