Primordial Soup: An Exploration into Risk Taking

About this ebook
“I am exploring the mindset that leads adventurous people into taking risks. Why did I have to climb the Everest, or hang from a rock wall, or run swelling white-water rapids.”
James Ramsey Ullman wrote: “Risk is essential, there is no growth in what is safe and comfortable.” Why do so many of us live by this standard? The nature of exploration dictates that there may be many unknown confrontations with risk that are beyond our control, yet we are willing to take on those uncertainties. Why? Primordial Soup explores the basic instincts and drive that motivate the author into his personal interactions with risk. From the disaster on Everest to a simple backyard swing, this story relates the relationship with risk and also death.
