Motivation comes from the word move
and means to move
. Motivation literally means; that which moves a person to action. Motivation refers to a movement that is initiated for a reason or purpose. This is an important point to understand; having a reason and a goal will activate motivation. For example, it's hard to go somewhere if you cannot see a reason or purpose. Values also drive all your motivation. You will not take any action unless it relates to something you value at a certain level. By identifying your values, you can start your own motivation, set goals that suit you, and spend time on things that are important to you.
