About this ebook

The book describes how immigrants suffer in this country by changing their entire habitat. It also talks about the way they are treated and how hard it is for them to comply with immigration laws and regulations.

They come to the USA, looking for a better haven, and with good expectations, they are leaving their country and families behind. Instead, they experience human disrespect, fraud, and lack of opportunities because of their immigration status, and they are forced to continue living undocumented because the laws are difficult to comply with. It also shows how I have worked my way up with hard work and devotion to be who I am today in spite of changes in immigration laws that I have to comply to perform my professions (bonds, etc.).

This talks about how I have not change my ideologies of assisting immigrants in their journey to the American Dream and being proud of my Honduran roots and being an immigrant myself.

    Chapter I

GOD made me to be born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras located in the heart of Central America and to be raised in the Municipality of La Lima. A Municipality in the Department of Cortes. It is home for the Corporate Headquarters of the TRRCo. a subsidiary of the Chiquita Brand whose central office is still located in the Port of Tela.

The city is divided by Chamelecon River. La Lima Vieja on the Western side of the river and Lima Nueva in the eastern.

Lima Nueva is the cradle of Chiquita Banana and the TRRCo. (Subsidiary of UNITED FRUIT COMPANY). Our main modus vivendum came from bananas plantations and people hired by them had to live in La Lima Nueva. Lima Nueva was specially built for TRRCo. Company employees. TRRCO. supported its employees so they could dedicate completely to the product. (banana) These was one of the reasons that there were many job openings in La Lima. Railroads were built in order to transport bananas to the Ports and to transport passengers.
