About this ebook
Ronald Walker
Hi. my name is Ronald. I’m an author. First, let me take the time to say that I hope that all of you are doing well and that from very inspiring perspectives that life is looking up. I’m a writer of small books. I Like to write some that are general reading, some that are light comedy and romance, some that are poetry and short stories, and some that I call light and complimentary literature. My acknowledgments from these applications? I don’t want to take up too much of your time, but for the time that I do take up, I hope that you could have a good time. In my opinion, life is wondrous. It’s full of so many inspiring and joyful experiences. I would rather try to help inspire you to the furthering of what you hope could be exciting, rewarding and fruitful endeavors instead of hindering you from them. If you are a person who also likes to read a lot, and could joyfully get into reading more acquired from my efforts, I know, as an author, I have successfully achieved my goal. And then, for the thoughts of more love and joy, I hope that we could do more.

About The Author
"This book is dedicated to Mrs. Lenora Rolla and family. My name is Ronald Walker and I am a product of the fourth generation. I attended Texas Southern University for my under grad studies in technology and my graduate studies at Prairie View A&M, in industrial Education. This is my first book which is long overdue. My inspiration came from the last moments of a family member (Mrs. Lenora Rolla) as she left to rest in Gods care. I’m hoping that all Americans and people abroad read this exciting story and take it to heart as a touching and in enlighting experience.
Prologue
It was late November, and the pecans are about to fall from their secured places on the branches. The days are rushing into the night. And the first chilling cold has set in the core of our bones. But as the dates pass and the night came, there was a static entity that never changes. This melancholy spirit is as stable as the moon which inhabits the sky. The spirited lady being described is the historian of her generation. This book is about her childhood which molded her into a great lady. Her walk had the spring of an Olympic track star and the sparkle in her eyes had the look of a polished diamond. This remarkable lady has weathered the storms of life unlike many other people of her time. This wonderful soul was born in the year of 1904. Deep in the woods of Palestine Texas, where trees are always green and the fresh smell of pine aroma dances in the pouches of the nose. The saying that Mrs. Rolla always muttered was HOW DID WE DO IT
Chapter One
First Generation
China Ring was a nick name given to Lenora (Hall) Rolla at a very early age by one of her cousins Kelsey. This nick name was used throughout her youth and into her young adult age.
