CB, which is a nickname for Christmas Baby, has wanted, her entire life, to write an admired and loved childrens Christmas story. One day, the memories of her childhood in Germany at Christmastime made her realize she had all the material needed to write a great story.

Her idea came from a marvelous recipe that she loved and learned to make from a Russian pastry cook as a child and continues to make, only at Christmas, for over half a century to date. CB decided to give her beloved recipe tradition as a Christmas story to be enjoyed by the world as her gift each and every Christmas.

I retired four years ago, and decided it was time to write my Children's Christmas Book. I was born on Christmas day and have always felt that it was my destiny to write a memorable Christmas story. One day, after years of searching for a special idea, it unexpectedly came to me, and you are now reading my enduring dream…Christmas Tea Cakes. It is not only a story about me but a Christmas tradition that I hope will become yours. My hope is that my story will inspire children to want to experience the joy of baking as I did when I was ten years old. In short, my home is in Georgia. I earned a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University, and I graduated from S.F. Austin High School in amazing Austin, Texas.
