A young once wealthy woman named Maureen who lived in Limerick Ireland is faced with destitute after the death of her husband.
A mysterious man a stranger promises Maureen that he can help her to regain her previous way of life, for her and her daughter. Who is this man? Will this promise of a returned fortune affect Maureen's family and perhaps contribute to the legacy of future relatives and their blood lines.
As time and generations pass the story travels to an unknowing loving family in the states. The O 'Brian's become involved with an Irish girl who lived in Limerick Ireland and is an exchange student who has been chosen to stay with the family through their church.
During the girl's stay with the family some unexplained happenings seem to be centered on the young girl's presence in the home. Who is this girl what is her purpose? Was it by chance that she was chosen to live with the O'Brian's? As things become more and more disturbing in the house causing fright and confusion Mrs O'Brian tries to seek help from any source she can.
Little did the family know that a loving presence from the past was silently watching. Who or what is this presence? How will it help the family?

Liz is of Irish descent, born here in the United States. Liz is an actress and a professional singer. She has received numerous awards, such as Connecticut Area Director for Talent Reviews and acknowledgement letters from her peers in the business, who have made note of her caring and professional treatment of her clients. She also has received first place awards for her direction in various productions. Liz has also been awarded by the State of Connecticut General Assembly for her contributions, professional and volunteer, for making a significant difference, and achievements in her community. She has been an active member of several local organizations as well as having served as the president of the Lioness Club in Beacon Falls.

M y book is a revelation of my Irish heritage, and my hope is that my readers will be given an opportunity to appreciate their own heritage and gain a sense of excitement and mystery. It is well known by the Irish and told to me by my Irish relatives that many Castles in Ireland stand broken and destroyed in Irelands neglected fields. That are still believed to be haunted to this day.

Many of the Castles of long ago were destroyed in the early 1900s, when many wars broke out with the Irish people wanting their independence and a better way of life.
