I would like to dedicate this book to my loving husband,
who inspired me to become the person I am today.
I am grateful to my four children JD Alexander Kemp, Mercedes
Kemp, Richard Morrell and Alexis Morrell, who are my motivation.
I wrote this book for the love of the Christian Ministry and for all
the women serving the Congregation in one way or the other.
Chapter One
God’s Word on Women in Ministry
Essentially, we’re taught that the Bible states that women are not allowed to commandeer over men. Why? Because Adam was created from dust, but Eve was created out of Adam (Genesis: 2.21, 22). Given that God has assigned different roles to men and women in the world, it does not mean that He regards one over the other more – He values them both the same.

The Role of Ministry
The main goal of the ministry is to teach. But teach what precisely? His teachings and the word of Gospel. When Jesus started His public ministry, He gathered all of his disciples – the twelve men. These twelve men were to champion the evangelistic cause carried out by Jesus. His main concern was not the gender of the people who did the teaching but people who were capable of creating big enough followings so that God’s word reached far and beyond. He treated it as a matter of needing more workers (disciples), to spread the word of God and create more disciples. This was His idea of a ministry.
According to the Holy Scripture
Back in the days of initial growth of the Assemblies of God, it
