About this ebook
In this book, all the religions are compared to a certain extinct to enlighten the reader on scripture-based and prophecy-based teachings about the beginning of the world as well as the end of the world or, should I say, the coming of the Messiah.

I hope that you enjoy and will be blessed by this book. It has truly been a blessing for me to write this book by the grace of God. I am an ordained minister filled with the Holy Ghost for our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been in the ministry for seventeen years. I have by the grace and favor of God accomplished being a pastor on this journey, along with earning a bachelor’s degree of ministry and a master’s degree of divinity, to teach and help students of Christianity reach higher heights in literature about theology and facts of the Bible.

The World of Gods and the One True God - Leonardo L. Williams M.D.
A WORLD OF GODS AND THE ONE TRUE GOD
R eligions in the world today have created different forms of worship in life that have caused generations upon generations to stumble from the worship of the one true God. The origins of religious worshipping began and have been practiced since the beginning of the creation of the world. There have been many of different religions practices that have evolved from many of beliefs, customs, and worship practices that made this world as a whole and alter for many gods. There traditions also varies in the different beliefs that makes the origin of each form of worship unique, yet obsolete as a whole because I believe that there is only one God who is the creator of all living things. But the question is centered around to a non- believer and a believer of the different religions that has me pondering is why in the world today is so many people in the earth worshipping different gods instead of one true God. As I have background studied in the finding principals of beliefs and worship practices in the world I have found out those world religions all came and originated from an off-shoot of Eastern religions. As I looked up statistics in my research I have found that according to (David B. Barrett’s religious statistics religious organization, encyclopedia Britannica; World Christian Encyclopedia – (latest edition) 2001. These statistics show that there are 22 major different religions that are recognized in the world today. They 22 major religions in the world today are as follows by rank being Christianity which has 2.1 billion worshippers, and it makes up of 33% of the world religions, Islam has 1.5 billion worshippers, and it makes up 21% of the world’s religions, Secular/ Non religions/ Agnostic / Atheist has 1.1 billion non-believers that makes up 16% of the world secular beliefs, Hinduism has 900 million, and it makes up 14% of worshippers of the world today, Chinese traditional religion has 394 million worshippers, and it makes up 6% of the world worshippers, Buddhism has 376 million worshippers and it makes up 6% of the worshippers in the world today, Primal – Indigenous (African/ Traditional & Diaspora) has 100 million worshippers and the make-up of 6% of worshippers of the world today, Sikhism has 23 million worshippers, and the make-up of .36% of the worshippers in the world today, Juche has 19 million worshippers, and it falls into the category of other which is 22% of worshippers in the world today, Spiritism has 15 million worshippers, and it is in the category of other which is in the 22% of worshippers in the world today, Judaism has 14 million worshippers, and it makes up .22% of the worshippers today, Baha’i has 7 million worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of other worshippers of the world today, Jainism has 4.2 million worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of other of the worshippers of the world today, Shinto has 4 million worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of other of the worshippers of the world today, Cao Dai has 4 million worshippers, and it is also of the 22% category of worshippers of the world today, Zoroastrianism has 2.6 million worshippers, and it is in 22% category of worshippers of the world today, Tenrikyo has 2 million worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of the world today, Neo- Paganism has 1 million worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of worshippers of the world today, Unitarian-Universalism has 800 thousand worshippers, and it is in the 22% of the category of worshippers in the world today, Rastafarianism has 600 thousand worshipper’s, and it is in the 22% of worshippers in the world today, and the last of the 22 religions is Scientology which has 500 thousand worshippers, and it is in the 22% category of the worshippers in the world today. The religions in the world are also in broken down into two more categories that I would like to list according to – (New York Public Library Students desk reference; New York; Prentice Hall, 1993; pg.271 The Worlds 12 Classical Religions). They consists of being as follows: Baha’i; Buddhism; Christianity; Confucianism; Hinduism; Islam; Jainism; Judaism; Shinto; Sikhism; Taoism, and Zoroastrianism. The second category of religions is called the Big Five which includes: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. These are the world’s major religions listed statistically in the world today. They all have different Worship Practices, Origins, Cultures, and Comparison that makes them unique in their own way, but which religion is basically the true religion which has the one true God.
In my studies of Comparative Religions I had to study the breakdown of the word Religion in order for me to grasp the concept of definition, which separates my ideas, and thoughts about the background of religions. I found in my studies that the word religion has many meanings that I would like to include in this essay or book beginning with : (Penguin dictionary of religions (1997) quotes Religion is a general term used to designate all concepts concerning the belief in god(s) or goddess (est.) as well as spiritual beings or transcendental ultimate concerns.); (Britannica Concise Encyclopedia online 2006) – Religion:
relation of human beings to God or the gods or to whatever they consider sacred or, in some cases, merely supernatural. And Encyclopedia Britannica (online 2006) states that religion-
human beings relation to that which they regard as holy; sacred; spiritual, or divine." (Mr. Peter Berger)- Said religion is the human attitude towards a sacred order that includes within it all being – human or otherwise i.e.; belief in a cosmos, the meaning of which both includes and transcends man. The definition found in the Wikipedia all rights reserved is registered trademark of Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.; a non-profit organization revised (March 2011) – Religion is a belief of some superhuman power or powers, in a particular god or gods, which usually involve obedience, reverence, and worship; and as part of a system which defines a code of living, especially as a way of achieving spiritual or material improvement. It has been described as a cultural system that creates powerful and long-lasing meaning, by establishing symbols that relate humanity to beliefs and values. Many religions have narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of the universe. It is also sometimes used interchangeably with faith or belief system, but religion differs from private belief in that it has a public aspect. Most religions are recognized to have organized behaviors, including clerical hierarchies, a definition of what constitutes adherence or membership, congregations of laity, regular meetings or services for the purposes of veneration of a deity or for prayer, holy places (either natural or architectural), and / or scriptures. The practice of a religion may also include sermons, commemoration of the activities of a god or gods, sacrifices, festivals, feasts, trance, initiations, funerary services, matrimonial services, meditation, music, art, dance, public service, or other aspects of the human culture. The development of religion has taken different forms in different cultures, and some religions place an emphasis on belief, while others emphasize practice. Religions in the world claim to be universal in the world today believing their laws and cosmology to be binding for everyone, while others are intended to be practiced only by a closely defined or localized group.
