Over the years I’ve had my problems, but through my experiences I have grown into what I think is a better person. But none of my journey would have happened if the people below haven’t have been there to help me. Each person listed below has taught me to grow, to learn, to develop and love. I’ve lost people along the way but they are for ever in my thoughts and dreams.

    My First Day

    Everyone knows the monkey

On his first day off to school

He clung to his mother’s apron

And clung to the wooden stool,

But in came father looking cross

He picked him up and said

"What’s all this noise, I’m trying to sleep

But with this noise I will get no sleep.

I’m scarred he said, "of going to school,

I’m scarred of what they’ll do.

I’ve never been to school before

And I what to stay with you."

You can’t do that, his father said

"I have to go to work,

I have to earn some money

    To buy your mothers skirt."

"I know, he said but still I’m scarred

    And Simon is the same,

    He has never been before

But he says we play games".

Of course you do, his father said

"You play all kinds of things,

You draw and paint and roller-skate

    And have loads of fun.

    And before you know it,

    You’ll be home

    With me and mummy

    Home sweet home.

    So off went the monkey,

    His lunch and his toy,

    Apple in his hand,

    And a feeling of joy

All day they laughed and played

Had their lunch and played again,

Then the bell they gave a groan

And the kids came racing home.

    Mummy, mummy I had fun,

    I played games with everyone,

    Daddy, daddy don’t be sad

I love you and I am glad

That you sent me off to school

Where I met and where I learned

With the children who were there

They taught me to lend and share

    Thank you daddy once again,

    I can’t wait to go again…….

    The Winner

    The cheetah is the fastest

    Animal to run

He’s just as fast as a bullet

Being shot out of a gun.

But he may be very fast

    And we are very slow

But learn a lesson from the cheetah

And let’s all have a go.

You may not be a winner

You may come last of all

    But don’t be put off

By the fact you’re very small.

    Because everyone’s a winner

Deep down you know I’m right.

And you are not a loser

So don’t give up without a fight.

    Always do your best

    Your family loves you so

And even if you’re not a winner

Well at least you had a go.

    Two Little Roses

A love will bloom for you to grow,

Strong and healthy like flowers in a row.

Sheltered by, the wind and rain,

    Waiting for the sun again.

Up you’ll sprout, so strong and tall,

Lying down or against the wall.

    Together strong you’ll always be,

Two little Roses, Just growing free.

    image3.jpg

    Two Little Bears

    Two little bears,

    Were skating on ice,

    Dancing and playing

    From morning till night.

    Chris was the big one

    And Marion the small

    And they had two children

And with them had a ball.

    They both were very clever,

    They both were very good,

    And they loved each other

    The best that they could.

So too bears and too children

    I beg you all tonight

    Goodnight to everyone

And to you all a goodnight.

    image4.jpg

    Rabbits

We are a family of rabbits

    Two parents and three small,

    We live inside a burrow,

But it’s not big at all.

Our names are Nick and Lorna,

Our kids are Debbie and Jayne,

    And Not forgetting out youngest,

    And Angie is her name…

    To be a Bird

Of all the things I’d like to be

A bird is what I’d be,

    I’ll sour over the rooftops

And the world is what I’d see.

    Over bright blue oceans,

    And over fields of green,

    Never before such beauty,

    Have I truly ever seen?

The bird flies with such grace,

So soft and smooth he flies,

    Into a night of stars

    And into pitch-black sky’s.

To be a bird I’ll love it,

    So graceful I would be

    And never would a hunter

    Dare to shoot at me.

I’d fly so fast they’d miss me,

    I’m too fast for
