I’m a quilter and textile artist, so a fabric illustrated children’s book was an unexpected but interesting step for me. I’m a 62 year old grandmother who now has time to combine my love of fabric with writing for children. My 15 year old granddaughter is my worst critic. She keeps me up on the best ways to phrase my sentences so the young ones will understand. Being from Kentucky has given me a rich heritage of all things “crafty”.
