About this ebook

Running with the Mob is a collection of stories that were inspired by a beautiful farm setting in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where they have emus, llamas, and a variety of farm animals. We always look to see if the mob of emus is out in the pasture when we drive by.

    Running with the Mob

Once upon a time, there was a farm in a valley before gentle hills. The farmhouse was white with gray shutters, and the big barn was red with a shimmering pond beside it. There were lots of open places to run in the fields and play. One lonely maple tree stood guard over the open field to the left of the barn.
