About this ebook
Vannessa Beach
I am a middle aged grandmother from Indianapolis and I have been afraid of the impending next war for many years and I hope with all my heart that we can have peace. It is my wish that when this next generation is in charge of running the world that they do right by all of us. I’ve been granted a patent it’s called Emergency Capsized Boat Seating Apparatus. Hopefully this device will save lives instead of death let’s figure out how we can live.

CHAPTER 1
Not A Normal Day
It was 0450 the bugler was dressed in his army issued ‘dirty green’ uniform. The lines were perfectly creased in his shirt and his shoes were shined he was at his assigned post positioned near the barracks and except for the handkerchief hanging from his left back pocket he looked like he was ready for inspection himself. He then looked at his bugle seeing that it needed a quick shine he took his ‘kerchief and shined it so that it glimmered even while still in the darkness. Private Dennison would not be caught with a dirty bugle. He checked his watch; there was to be 40 soldiers in full work uniform with their sergeants in ten minutes. He raised his prized beauty to his lips then licked them, and then repositioned them as if he were to kiss his girlfriend. He took a deep breath and blew the most vividly recognizable revile that soldiers could recognize in the Revolutionary War 200 years ago. He probably woke them all up! In ten minutes, there were two full companies methodically lined up like soldiers ready for work. Except for PFC Polton stumbling to get in line on time and not having his right shirt pocket buttoned they looked perfect; otherwise Sgt. Jackson would never have bellowed.
Polton! There is no room for clumsiness here in my platoon or are you just drunk?
No Sir! I don’t drink.
Then you’re just clumsy is that it?
And button that button!
Yes Sir.
There will be no Gomer Pyle’s in my platoon and that means all of you!
Yes Sir.
I can’t heeaar you.
The whole company chimed in, Yes Sir!
That’s better.
The tanks were rolling across the hot fields behind the barracks because today they were all to be field tested; motors were shipped in from Russia it was cheaper to have to motors replaced than to purchase new tanks, but the non-commissioned officers didn’t see it that way and they were grumbling.
Corporal Moore said to the other corporal, Russian motors on U.S. Army tanks! Wrong… . this seems so wrong, do you know that our government paid 25 million dollars just to have those ‘D’ thangs shipped from Russia!
(While flailing his arms) he said, Your tax dollars just paid for that.
The other corporal chimed in and said, I know, my girlfriend works with the secretary who handled the requisitions to make that payment. It was for (22) RS-DS size 950 horsepower engines with the shipment from Russia to the U.S. 25 million good ’ole U.S. American dollars.
Corporal Moore continued flailing his arms about and stated, How can we afford this? Do you know they plan on replacing all of our American tanks with ‘their’ engines? We can’t afford that!
Look man, I just work here and so do you.
The President is negotiating the price now at least that is what I heard"
Corporal Moore made a noise… humph.
"We’ll see how that
