Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
May 9, 2014,
Dear Dad,
Well today certainly was a good day for you. You caught 10 fish. You released 4 fish. You skinned 6 fish. (I am sorry that I didn’t assist you earlier with the flashlight. It’s hard to fillet fish with that dim garage light.) Then, you ate 3 perfectly sized channel catfish. (you said I deserved the Fish Fryer of the year
award, thanks.) This was all after you finished your chores, fished in my pond - almost catching a monster turtle which was trying to attack your red and white bobber, drove around the block and went into town to drop off the information for that 40 acres you are purchasing. I hope you sleep well. Tomorrow is another day. Something new every day!
, you stated this evening as you were washing your hands. Hopefully, You will have time tomorrow to load up the stink bait and pull a few things up the banks of your precious Cedar Creek. I will finish your book in a few days from now. In a few months, you will take some time to go on a visual reminiscence. I hope you will be pleased with my rigging of your memoirs. After all, this is the least I can render for the gracious existence that you, Mom and our Heavenly Father have afforded me. I am so
