Thunder, lightning and stormy winds would mark the birth of Samson McNear, a Slave born to a house slave named Betha, who was owned by Master John McNear. It seemed that Betha got big as soon as she was taken up to the house, but no one ever talked about that.
Master John’s wife April was very sickly, but, she could remember vividly all the Nights Master John would slip into Betha’s room in a drunken stupor and take Betha over and over again against her will. She watched again and again how her husband made a fool of himself with this slave girl, she knew in her heart that this was how Betha got big. She cursed them both on her dying bed saying that bastard child will bring you nothing but death and misfortune
everything you have will be lost. At that point she hung her head and died.
Now, April had no idea that every time Master John took Betha, it made her feel like a human toilet for she was the granddaughter of an African Holy Man
and to be violated by this godless and disgusting devil was the absolute worst. Being sprayed with his weak, smelly, impotent spunk felt like animals were defecating on her In Master John’s mind he was making love the only way he knew how. He even began to develop feeling for Betha because in his twisted mind he was giving her love in secret, never knowing that Betha’s heart and soul belonged to a field hand named Joshua. Master John thought he was the only one for Betha. The very night April died, Betha went into labor. It was the most intense and violent labor you could ever imagine. The wind blew so hard, the trees bowed down in the rain, it was a storm the likes which no one had ever seen. As Master John watched with fear, he kept remembering April’s last words. In his head he kept saying to himself oh the ramblings of a sick woman mean nothing
. As soon as the child was born, all was calm. It was as if there was never a storm at all. Betha was so exhausted from the ordeal, she could barely remain conscience however, before she fell into a coma like sleep she said I’m gonna name you Samson from the good book because it took a whole lotta strength to push you out and will be strong in every way. After hearing what Betha said to her newborn son before she fell asleep, Master John felt the fear of April’s words all over again.
Now, Samson was fair skinned like his mother, with dark ears, which was pretty strange for a white man’s son. Master John realized that this was his only child and it was by a woman he secretly loved. He loved Betha and Samson but he could not show any emotion, his barbaric instincts were stronger than his feeling of love because they were slaves, he had to continue to see them that way, even though his heart felt quite differently
As the years rolled by Master John would try to separate himself from Betha and her son but he was in a constant quandary, because he was in love with a slave woman who didn’t love him and had a son. Which he could not claim. Tormented by his barbaric instincts and his heart Master John took to drinking even more then he normally did.
It would kill Master John to watch Betha go to and fro throughout the house doing her normal duties. You see, Betha was a jewel of a woman with long slender shapely legs that turned into the most incredible ass ever known to man. She had a small waist and her back was smooth and untouched because Master John would never dare beat her. She was very beautiful and her beauty smote him. Her breasts were still firm and full as if they still had the seed in them. They stood up like soldiers, her long slender neck holding up the most beautiful face you can imagine. Thin lips, a perfect nose with deep set dark eyes so engaging that when you looked into her eyes, you could lose yourself. Her hair was jet black and very straight. Although she came into the world through horror and degradation, because of the brutal rape of her mother by a slave master, she was a queen in her own right. What a jewel she was!
In an effort to keep himself from the torment of not being able to proclaim his love for Betha and his son. Master John began going out drinking more and more and cavorting with all kinds of women. This helped him numb the desire in his heart because if his peers found out that he was in love with a slave girl, he could never show his face anywhere.
One good thing about Master John’s cavorting was that it made it much easier for Betha to get out and see Joshua, the field hand whom she truly loved. She would leave at night and meet Joshua in the stables. Now Joshua was a deep dark chocolate man, tall in stature he stood about six feet-three inches. He was very muscular, with tight smooth skin bearing only blemishes on his back from being beaten and whipped in fear of the master. He had big, strong hand, nice thick lips and a very proud brow. He was originally bought for the purpose of breeding, he was a prize bull that would never let the master down.
Through all his breeding, he only loved one woman and that was Betha. Seeing her made him weak in the knees, light headed, and his heart pound as if it would jump out of his chest. He waited eagerly for the times Betha could meet him at night for these moments would last forever in his mind and heart. The more Master John went out, the more they could be together. Betha was always careful to get back in the house before master got home. She knew that some nights she would have to put him to bed because he was too drunk to do it himself. Most nights he was so drunk, he would just pass out and Betha would just put him in bed.
One night coming home in a drunken stupor, he was very sad and mean. He came in screamin where are you, you nigger bitch, help me get to bed, take off my boots
. Betha spoke very softly saying ‘yes Massa’. He began to call her a good for nothin whench and asked her why couldn’t you be white like me so that I can love you, but I can’t love you because yous a nigger
. My wife has been dead for some time now and you still don’t love me, I’ve got to find me a real woman to have my babies and not some mud hole who can’t love me. Betha just thought to herself, how foolish of my drunken master to think I could love him after he raped me over and over against my will. He treats me like cattle, he makes me feel like an outhouse
. This man done defiled me with his spray I can’t wash enough, I hate him with a perfect hatred. All the while Master John was rambling on about his love and a new life, Betha put him to bed and left the room. The next morning Master John awakened and left early although Betha was up to help him get dressed; Master John never even looked at her, he just got dressed and left.
Many years passed and Samson is growing like a weed. He’s getting tall and strong and appears to be much stronger and smarter than the other boys his age. You see, as he was growing up Betha who was taught to read by one of the little white girls she grew up with on the plantation her mother was on taught Samson how to read. Betha never let any know that she could read except Joshua whom she also taught to read. She stressed to both Joshua and Samson the importance of keeping secret the fact that they knew how to read. Not only was Samson smart but he had something else which was very strange about him. He constantly told his mother about voices he heard in his head that were so clear and seemed as though the animals understood him. At first Betha thought Samson was just funnin but as she listened to him she started to think maybe he’s got the mind’s eye like his great-grandfather. Betha’s grandfather was a holy man in Africa with the gift of the mind’s eye. Which meant he had the ability to go into a person’s mind, hear their thoughts, change their thoughts and plant thoughts in their minds. This left Betha really thinking as she watched Samson in the fields.
As Betha continued to watch Samson, she noticed how he had grown so tall and handsome. She noticed how his skin had darkened and how he looked more and more like his father. Strong hands, muscular body but a little something extra, a certain magnetic kind of power where he could anticipate the needs of others and draw them into him in a very gentle way.
Samson stayed around the horses mostly because he loved them and they seemed to respond to him as though they spoke the same language. Master John taught Samson a great deal about horses because he loved horses too. He would watch in amazement at the way the horses responded to Samson, he had never seen anything like that before.
One day while Samson was tending the horses, Master John came to him and said that brown mare is in heat, we gonna mate her with that black stallion
. Samson replied huh
because as long as he had been around the horses he had never seen them mate. Samson was about fourteen at this time so he was very curious and excited to be a part of this process. Samson guided the stallions member into the mare’s opening. As soon as the stallion entered he thrust forward with such a force, he knocked the mare to her knees and let loose his spray.
Samson asked Massa is the mare hurt, are her legs broke? Master John said
heck no boy that mare just got humbled much the same as I did your momma boy". Yep she was just like that thar mare and I was much like the stallion and Master John began to laugh as hard as he could. Samson just turned and walked away, a
